- Always be 100% sure of every plant before you use it for anything. How to find soap in the wild.
Yucca is one of several saponins containing plants that can be crushed and used for a field expedient soap.
Nature providing all.
As a species we need to get back to nature as much as possible and as soon as possible. 👍
It is good to balance self sustainability with on grid living.

I agree.
Love your videos.
Please keep up the good work of excellent content.
Very best wishes from North West England UK. 💕
Yes we should have never been this far out of nature. We should live like other animals. We shouldn’t be living in giant cities. Our species needs to go back to where it belongs. In the wild.

I wouldn't go to that extream personally.
To some extent I would agree with you and perhaps agree even more with you in certain situations.
But I think what's needed more than anything is for humans to live in Peace, respect and balance with nature and the natural world. To protect and preserve it everywhere always. To always respect it and never turn out backs on it.
This wouldn't mean so much abandoning technology but more a global mind set shift from the people's of the world and absolutely and most defiantly the leaders of the world.
Basically a shift forward in human spiritual evolution.
Etymology of ‘artificial’ means “handiwork”. Mans ingenuity has created all the dis ease. Do you think you can better the natural world? By doing so, you are only ruining what is already sacred.
Thanks. Best thing I learned all week!
I have 2 in the front of my house.. thank you. I would’ve never known.
John Days Apparently you used a cellphone or a computer to post this so yours must be hollow too
That shit's hilarious. Your videos are great. Keep em coming.
You can also use the soap plant. It’s actually much better. It looks kinda like garlic and you have to pull it out from underground from it’s twisted leaves.
I have been learning from u for years.. U have really grown up. Ty
Damn good subject to touch on these days!!
Love it! 😍 Great videos as always, super useful!
Great video as always.
Love you, Cody. Just subscribed to this channel because of the older videos. Very happy to see a new upload and this is a very helpful video
Glad to hear that. Welcome to the channel
Nice content Cody, useful knowledge for an outdoor trip:)
Keep it up!
Hi, you/your stuff will get cleaner, just don´t expect to get rid of fat on any surface with saponines :/ I once tried to wash my hair thinking "shampoo out of nature"..
Great content! Subbed!
YOH... CODY😎🔥☔ AWESOME!!! VIDEOS!!!!
I traveled in the west and southwest and found out the flowers are edible as well. You should boil the root for a bit, it contains cyanide. It's good stuff!
can use campfire ash in a pinch. Just add a little bit of water and scrub. Do not leave it on long, and probably don't use it too often, it is quite alkaline.
I like it, awesome
dope dope thanks !!
Killer video as usual. I live in east Tennessee and these plants are starting to be pretty common around river banks nowadays. Could you do a video on preparing the roots as well, sometime?
Sure thing. I'll add it to my list
right on!
We have these in our yard in the Northeast US. Good luck if you want to get rid of them, can't stomp them out, can't cut them down, can't dig them up unless you get every little piece of root, they come back. I've learned to value them though.
I heard day Lilly bulbs can be used to never tried it great vid son keep em coming . Pls be safe
I'll have to look into that
Wow , we have some in our front yard . Thanks for the info
Awesome plant. Gonna do a video on the uses of the plant sometime in the next few months.

Really appreciate many of your videos . Thank you I noticed the bees love the flowers .
You can also make syrup out of them to use on pancakes.
Coool
Does Aloe Vera happen to have any soap properties, or is it just a cooling substance?
Cody... Can you eat ANY yucca tubers?
You can fry up the flowers and eat them
Hey Cody can you make a video, where you show to cook or boil water without using a pot?

Are you in Texas?
Virginia. Technically we shouldn't have them but they were Introduced. So you can find then around old house sites or occasionally wild.
@@CavemanCody Haha I knew you were in Virginia as soon as I saw the color and consistency of the dirt :)
@@geyotepilkington2892 good ole virginia clay.
..And if there's no running water..?
Standing water works too. Or poured water
@@CavemanCody ..Well ya..but if there is no water watsoever..
@@doncooper512 oh. You can clean pans and pots with dry sand.
@@CavemanCody ..Lol..i'm just messn with ya.. i do enjoy watching your videos as they are VERY helpful and useful....
@@doncooper512 lol that is a valid point though and I had not yet considered covering that in a video. What if your in a situation where rationing water is extremely important.
Pretty sure you can’t eat the roots. Lol. You’re thinking of yuca (cassava) roots.
I read some parts are toxic!
Pls Stay at home
My home is surrounded by a combined 1000 acres of farmland. At any given time I'm over a acre away from anyone.
aye, Yeshua (Jesus) loves you and he died for you. repent and believe that God rose him from the dead and you shall be saved.
