When he stands at Jimmy’s podium, you get to really understand Rob Brydon is a short man with a big fucking head that makes you think he’s a lot taller
@@MisterItchy True. Two of my favourite bits out of the entire runtime of the quiz were when Richard Ayoade was eating bananas and what ensued after that.
think this is one of the biggest misconceptions i see about the quiz, Mel B was playing a character. agree with the straight man comment. Not as if she were trying to be a spoilsport
@@MisterItchy David Mitchell's already there doing that role significantly better. In that BFQ, all she does is act grumpy and prickly, like she doesn't want to be there, and doesn't want anyone else to make jokes or try to be entertaining.
Always love the screen dynamics between many of these comedians who are literally on each others' shows all the time, basically friends on TV roasting each other
Number One reason this show (and those like it) can't work in America is that American comedians can't stand to have the piss taken out of themselves and would get angry at the ribbing. Try to watch the very few episodes of American Taskmaster to see unfunny and awkward.
It would be very different. Rob might be too nice for this show and if he replaced Jimmy, viewers might feel like something's missing from the bfq like they know it.
"Your mum" absolutely should have been here
I expected when Rob Beckett was eating Richard Ayoade's candy!
"Did your mum kill him?...I heard your mum killed him during sex" hahahaha one of the best bits
Caught me off guard!
she was
It was in part 1
the show is at its best when panelists go crazy
“Yeah it was right, but you don’t get a point because F@&k you dude!” 😂🤣😂 I can’t breathe!
Can't spell either. The word is "fuck".
@@ipellaers It’s called having class and still getting the point across. 🙄 Keep enjoying your ridiculous criticism keyboard warrior. 😉👌

Dara, when he's wearing Noel's coat, looks ever so much like Uncle Fester!!!

The spice girls puns is such a great moment in context, since it comes at the end of a Big Fat Quiz where Mel B was killing the fun the whole time.
She was not killing the fun. Sometimes, comedy needs a 'straight man' and Mel B fits that role.
@@MisterItchy True. Two of my favourite bits out of the entire runtime of the quiz were when Richard Ayoade was eating bananas and what ensued after that.
@@MisterItchy Indeed. At 16:16 she shows a little giggle against her will. Which makes her rather likable.

Favourite of all British comedic shows..
Good for you? I couldn't really care less😂
@@Ryno2094If you didn't care, you wouldn't have felt the need to comment, bozo.
I also enjoy the show, Peter. You have good taste!
@@Ryno2094damn who pissed in your cereal?
Jack vs Mr Blobby Should have been on this list 😂
Definitely! Livid
That was certainly an instance of Jack losing control!
The ironic thing is that spice girl's pun bit is the only time Mel B looks like she's happy to be there

The entire anniversary quiz could've been here (this is the start of the revolution!)
"wewolution" for Jonathan Ross
I would love a parody version from Sarah based on that “stop right now ffs”.
What did Mel B think would happen, with that bunch of mocking feckers. And the more she hated it, the more they're going to do it.
im surprised the food fight isn’t here
Russell Brand skulking towards the audience hits different in late September 2023
Jimmy rarely had control of the show, tbh haha. Good mash up though 😂

Which episode was it when Dara was wearing Noel’s jacket??
The best TV imo is always when the guests are just having fun. Like the old 70s Gong Show.
If I had 5p for every time there was an attempted coup on BFQ, I'd have 10p, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
6:07 is absolutely despicable dara
16:00 Mel B missed Buzzcocks so this is only fair quiz panel hazing.
4:45
Seriously does anyone else laugh like Jimmy does
HA HA
Will Rob Brydon ever make me laugh, nope, not even a hint of a giggle or smile
Anyone else think Rob Brydon would be a much better host of this
Too twee. We need a filthy, foul-mouthed comic for BFQ so that's Rob out 😁
It would be very different.

No
Don't get me wrong, I think Rob is hilarious on would I lie to you, but this is Jimmy's thing
