I used to drive for LA Unifed,,,yes it's union there is medical/dental and the salary is outstanding,,,,,,I dont know what the starting salary is but by now top pay is probably $24-$25/hr and if you like to drive,,it's the best school bus driving job in America,,,,,,in a day you can travel as far as Chatsworth to San Pedro and then some,,,,,,

In some state and provinces you need a dedicated bus license.

Can be even more hrs, school is an all day thing now, even on Saturday and Sunday. Have you ever heard of field trips, after school!
