Like CN Real for the United States that nearly killed the Channel as a way to compete with Disney and Nickelodeon´s Sitcoms, Here in Latin America we had our version of it as well with not only CN Shows but also non CN based shows like Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (that was ok, but was more of a emissary of things to come), Mr. Young, co productions with Televisa (Mexico) La CQ, Live Action Movies (Including the ones made for TV based on Ben 10), , reruns of Chespirito shows (that were also available pretty much everywhere else), a poorly made Ben 10 Based game show and Finally (and also the only Live Action Show remaining on CNLA) Power Rangers (From Dino Charge onwards after Nickelodeon Latin America Dropped the franchise after the Samurai/Super Samurai seasons), and unnecessary filler shorts. Another dark moment for us was the Ben10 exploitation, you could actually see all of the 3 shows available at that time (Original, AF and UA) over the course of the day making the other shows barely relevant if it wasn´t for their blocks (Heroes, Ha Ha Ha) and also for Toy Sale reasons (Mattel with Barbie, Monster High , Max Steel and Hot Wheels, Hasbro with Transformers and Star Wars The Clone Wars, Spin Master with Bakugan and the short lived Redakai) you had like 2 Hours of Ben 10, one different show, let´s say Pokemon Black & White then 2 more Hours of Ben 10 and after that a block called "Ben 10 Hour" by the time Omniverse premiered, the problem was still there but it was starting to going downhill when the other shows Adventure Time, Regular Show, Mad, The Looney Tunes Show were getting stronger. Why the Ben 10 Exploitation? Because Ben 10 is a 4 Armed Heavy Hitter here (Pun at the Expense of Four Arms) and brought a lot of money in merchandise, and finally the most infamous offense during these dark times: Heavy HEAVY Censorship nonsensical cuts to the most minimum thing even if it was the tamest thing ever. I could go on with those Dark years but this pretty much summarizes it. CNLA These days is far from perfect but it´s decent right now, they didn´t even cut anything noticeable from Adventure Time´s Finale for example. The only thing is that with the Ben 10 Reboot they´re just pulling again the Wolverine publicity card with merch and a newer Game show, but it lacks the impact of the first Ben 10 Exploitation, still is a heavy hitter. Newer shows came in, surprises came in (Like CNLA´s Anniversary month that had late night blocks with classics and topped with a Full Day marathon called "La Maquina del Tiempo" / The Time Machine which revisited all of the eras through select shows with their matching Onscreen Logo (From The Current logo all the way back to the Checkerboard Era logo).
At the end while raven was about to go home the original teen titans logo showed up. At the big place in the beginning you missed courage from courage the cowardly dog. And also when Ben was going to knock off strikes arm at the regular part before showing the checkerboard part in the background, there was also moxy again and grizz from we bare bears. Honestly, they should make this Nexus thing into it's own series. CN has enough history to make a fully fledged mash up show with all kinds of different characters interacting from different series. It could sort of be like Disney's House of Mouse and they could even bring back this new villain. He did look pretty cool.

Theory - When Cartoons Suddenly Have Stopped Airing or About to Stop Airing On CN, Striker brings those characters to the CN city to strike them, and thats why they suddenly stopped airing on TV. Striker keeps on bringing in more and more characters to destroy, and when that happens, the show ends. When the city era ended, Striker came to the city and started to strike characters that stopped showing on TV. Man so many Easter eggs. Honestly if this was the 25th anniversary special then it would have worked. So many Easter eggs. Also I like how Finn was the one to give the final blow because the goal was the revive every character like how Adventure Time revived the Network for a while. Also cause the creator of Ok KO actually got started on adventure time and then went to Steven universe so in a way it goes full circle. But seeing the city again and the maguzi character again was just really awesome
A I the only one who thinks this special went too fast? It is truly awesome that there is so much Easter eggs about Cartoon Network's history being shown. But They show it so quickly that you don't have time to appreciate it. This Crossover should have been at least 45 minutes long. (With commercials in the middle making this a one hour special.) So you the younger viewers can see more. The reason why this Crossover is so short, Is because that's all cartoon Network shows are now. Short stories that are quick to the point. CN want's to make dumb kids laugh just as much as keep older viewers interested. And possibly there are copyright reasons for the very short cameos. (Just like in the film "Who framed Rodger Rabbit" Micky Mouse and Bugs Bunny had to share the same amount of screen time together. Second by second. Because Disney and Warner Bros are Super anal about legal rights.) To back up my point. There are plenty more characters they could have turned to stone in this special. Tome from Toonami. The Looney Tunes. Hanna-Barbera cartoons. The Justice League in Paul Dini's art style. And many more ...But NOPE! Copyright laws will not allow anybody to even mention their existence in other shows. Overall. The special is great. but damn too fast to take in at once.

Annoying Orange deserves to be forgotten, and hopefully the remains of its existence will be burned. The Tom and Jerry show was the king of 3/10. Not horrible, but not at all good. MAD.. I miss MAD, but I see why they didn't reference it- since IT was just a bunch of references itself. I haven't seen the Looney Tunes Show yet- heard Lola was pretty good in it, though. Total Drama deserved at least one reference- after all, it's had seven main seasons on Cartoon Network and now Total Dramarama..so I don't get why they left that one out.

Man so many Easter eggs. Honestly if this was the 25th anniversary special then it would have worked. So many Easter eggs. Also I like how Finn was the one to give the final blow because the goal was the revive every character like how Adventure Time revived the Network for a while. Also cause the creator of Ok KO actually got started on adventure time and then went to Steven universe so in a way it goes full circle. But seeing the city again and the maguzi character again was just really awesome

It is truly awesome that there is so much Easter eggs about Cartoon Network's history being shown. But They show it so quickly that you don't have time to appreciate it. This Crossover should have been at least 45 minutes long. (With commercials in the middle making this a one hour special.) So you the younger viewers can see more. The reason why this Crossover is so short, Is because that's all cartoon Network shows are now. Short stories that are quick to the point. CN want's to make dumb kids laugh just as much as keep older viewers interested. And possibly there are copyright reasons for the very short cameos. (Just like in the film "Who framed Rodger Rabbit" Micky Mouse and Bugs Bunny had to share the same amount of screen time together. Second by second. Because Disney and Warner Bros are Super anal about legal rights.) To back up my point. There are plenty more characters they could have turned to stone in this special. Tome from Toonami. The Looney Tunes. Hanna-Barbera cartoons. The Justice League in Paul Dini's art style. And many more ...But NOPE! Copyright laws will not allow anybody to even mention their existence in other shows.
Overall. The special is great. but damn too fast to take in at once.

Annoying Orange deserves to be forgotten, and hopefully the remains of its existence will be burned. The Tom and Jerry show was the king of 3/10. Not horrible, but not at all good. MAD.. I miss MAD, but I see why they didn't reference it- since IT was just a bunch of references itself. I haven't seen the Looney Tunes Show yet- heard Lola was pretty good in it, though. Total Drama deserved at least one reference- after all, it's had seven main seasons on Cartoon Network and now Total Dramarama..so I don't get why they left that one out.
