    Just love your projects and the way you blend and mix the epoxy without it mixing to different colors. Looks like stained glass!! Thank you!

    I agree with John Valuk, your projects are unique, although they may not be for long as I’m sure there are plenty of subscribers who will copy them. Keep up the good work 🌞

    Hi there, this week's piece is a delight, the colours are stunning and considering it's made from bits and bobs it is wonderful. I'm sorry about not commenting on last week's project but after watching it again, I have decided what I didn't like it was the wood spacers in the resin the fact that you had the resin too and bottom was lovely,but the damn wood spacers just well you know. Anyway thanks for sharing till next week stay safe and well.😁😁

      Hi Ellen, I appreciate your honesty, 🙂 whilst doing the previous project I was in 2 minds about it though it grew on me by the time it was finished, really glad you like this one it was fun to do.🙂

    I love this piece! I have tried msny times to get color separation like this i have let it go to 90° but have not yet had success. Resin can be challenging. Thank you for sharing. Im going back to the shop to try 100° now

      Hi, thank you it's one of my favourite pieces. Epoxy Resin can be very tricky. I had a lot of fails before I got consistent successes. Good luck with your projects, 😀

      @@RestorationDIY thank you!! I have watched several of your videos. I have never even tried segmented turning. I do a lot of twice turn and inlay with resin or what ever material I have for inlay. and a lot of wood and resin bowls and vases. I joined a group that has several guys that do segmented turns. I may give it a shot one of these years. Just seems like a lot more glue ups. Of course I have done a ton of cutting board with a lot of glue ups so I am not sure why I drag my feet on this type of turning. It may become my favorite new go to! I do like your videos and content you put out and the way you do it step by step and technique. Thank you sir!

      Thank you. I appreciate your comments. Segmented wood turning is good fun and very rewarding, not to mention it uses much less material. Give it a go. I'm sure you'll enjoy it 🙂

    A beautiful bowl well documented in the video with your very interesting narrative - most enjoyable, well done. I didn’t mind your inadvertent omission of some of the more mundane elements of the project which are inevitably rather repetitive for regular viewers of your channel. Has the sander recovered from ‘hot glue-gate’?

    • @RestorationDIY
      @RestorationDIY  2 роки тому +1

      Many thanks, Glad you enjoyed it, The glue ruined the abrasive so the sander will be getting a new loading of sandpaper in the coming days 🙂
