Bro I understand how you feel. I went from scatpack to m5 competition. It whole another level! Talking about German engineering, I was in awe of it. I was like mindblown how well German engineering is. The smooth and accelerating and the simple luxury and everything. Man you can’t beat that! But as for scatpack, I love the 6.4 engine and it so beautiful engine well built and the sound you can’t even beat that as well. So I get you brother

In my opinion it's hard to Compare a Scat and an M4, two totally different vehicles, engineered for two different purposes (in my opinion). You leveled up Brodie, that's a fact! That doesn't mean you cant regret the classic "American Muscle" ;)

Yes those are two completely different cars and yes you are 100% correct, him driving M4 says that he did leveled up and now he has more than a buck 50 in his bank account, but comparing BMW to Dodge is like comparing Apple to a Watermelon, they are both fruits, just in a different categories of fruits.

I think this was a very fair assessment. One thing I always talk to people about is the confidence that an M series care gives you. It’s difficult to explain but these cars feel different than anything else I’ve owned. I had a v10 M6 and that thing was a rocket; but the M4 has so much power all through the rev range and the feedback through the steering wheel is perfect.

Traded my ZL1 in for an M-4. Can't lie, miss that supercharger wine and the hook up on the ZL1 was better. Just takes a little getting use to all that comfort and speed without the supercharger wine.
Now that's a comparison i'd like to see! ZL1 1LE and M4 Competition 2 of my favorite cars!
ZL 1 is a driver's car though. A beauty. It got respect on the Nurburgring.
I’ve noticed people getting mad thing whenever I’m not in my charger. I think it’s just the “stigma” of the Charger people think we’re strapped. Also the car gives off big don’t f with me vibes. Other cars such as the bmw look more friendly

I went from a 2016 m4 to a 2021 widebody challenger 392. The interior of the m4 and Harmon Kardon audio was leaps and bounds above the challenger. However the exhaust note low, end torque, and the shit eating grin it puts on my face is unmatched. Hearing that 6.4 roar keeps my foot heavy...lol You are absolutely right i get way more looks and nice car comments in the scat for than i did in the m4 and most of the time its from older white guys. I think its just the road presence with the widebody. Im now looking into a c7 z06 because i want more power but its almost impossible to find a hellcat manual and i refuse to get an auto. Plus the hellcat is basically the same car with a supercharger

M4 is nice too. I got a new 2023 M5 comp with 617 HP in Dec. It's so much love for the car. It annihilates anything on the road. I've had an old Range rover driver who was mad that I merged in front of him from a ramp in a slow traffic, speeding up to my side and tried to side swap me on my lane and gave a middle finger.

From a previous scat owner to a BMW, I would agree with everything you said - Quality and Tuning capabilities sold me… I like the turbo sounds too 💪🏽💯 Plus Dodge has such a horrible reputation now in the car scene (mainly takeovers 👎🏽)

Loui sounded happier when he had the scat pack , right now deciding between a bmw 550i or a scatpack and I just can’t convince my self to choose the beemer I guess I like the outer esthetics of the chargers and bmw hasn’t done it for me since the last 535i they brought out back in 2016
I own a scatpack and at the end of the day bmw, mercedes, Audi etc is the way to go. You get all the perks and I love a nice sporty car with a luxury interior. Nothing is more sexier than that

Cons: M taxs all the mods for M cars are expensive as fuck, Maintenance parts are expensive as fuck and the labor is expensive as fuck for M cars.
I’ve had my M4 Comp for 3 years no issues, great car. Do all the maintenance myself unless it’s a big job like crankhub.

First of different type of cars not the same class very different. You are not going to get the same feeling from a turbo charged 6 inline engine to a V8 but your wallet will like the savings $. I still like the way my new edge mustang sounds compared to my M3 but the M3 is faster and can still get 30 mpg plus I get that boost sound. In general BMW is more a lux vehicle. If you want pure power racing M2/3/4 is the one. If you want lux and power get an M5/+.

Those are two completely different cars.
1. From mechanical stand point of view, fixing 392's is beyond easy, fixing M4's M5 etc... is really Hard.
2. 392's and Hellcats are Drama Queen cars, Most BMW's in your case M4, is just a track Fast and very Luxuries car and nothing more.
3. When you see Challengers and Chargers on a road, you know Exactly that those are an American Classic Muscle cars (due to their unique timeless looks, especially Challenger) BMW's on the other hand look too generic, you have to be a car person to actually know what you are looking at.
4. M4 Is faster on a straight line and it is a killer on a track and it definitely will attract more attention from clubs and bars, BUT your car is replaceable and forgettable, when new 2026 M4 comes out, your car will become completely irrelevant, because this is what BMW and Mercedes business model is all about, disposable cars. Chargers and Challengers on the other hand are Classic, Historical cars that will not be forgotten, no matter what model or year you drive.
5. BMW M4's and upper models scream MONEY💸💰💵 Charger's and Challenger's scream Culture and Life Style.
I agree to a certain extent. BMW has the classics as well but I def get what you’re saying. You definitely have to know your stuff to really differentiate an M car (depending on the model) from the rest even though there’s differences you can see, to the naked eye people don’t notice. Whereas chargers and challengers tend to stand out a little more on the road cause they look so different from everything else. Even though there’s a 💩 load of em everywhere. A lot of different bmw models do look similar, so people don’t know the difference, unless you know.
