Nissan waiting until 2026 to bring e-power to America isn’t the best decision they’ve made. Hopefully it’s refined and improved for America by the time it gets here.
I would check this out instead of HRV since we are still waiting for HRV Hybrid in the USA. This has the Sentra engine with MPI port and direct injection which should be good for lifespan. Nissan make their cars feel solid and substantial in a way that Toyota and Honda do not. I would prefer Corolla Cross Hybrid or HRV Hybrid but it's good there's diversity in the segment.
Honestly, this is a very nice car for the price. Anything new on the Toyota and Honda lot is going to be well over $30,000 OTD for poverty spec, and you can probably get a decent discount on the Kicks even further at the Nissan lot. After a certain point, I think the Toyota/Honda tax just wouldn't be worth it, especially given how nice the new Kicks actually is.
"A 2.0 L 148 hp engine with a CVT probably still made by Jatco. If this is Nissan’s best attempt this auto maker is in trouble." yeah that sentence has engine and transmission in it not just transmission.
It is important to mention that the SR trim is the only trim that comes with alloy wheels(19 in). The middle trim comes with hubcaps. The most amazing hubcaps I have ever seen.
How soon it will fall apart, like the rest of Nissans? On the bright side, this 4 cylinder NA engine has better chance to outlive its Jatco CVT than the 3-cylinder VC Turbo in the Rogue. So, if the money on the hood covers a couple of transmission replacements, it might be a good buy.
If a car can't do 0-60 in 7sec range and 1/4 in 15 sec range it isn't safe. Just picture a/c on / let's say 2 or more people in the car and or items in the trunk. Now you have to get into lane or get out of the way//THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM [ BOTTOM-LINE]
Geez bots aside, I think Nissan is really crushing their designs. New Murano carries this design language really well
Theyve always had great styling imo

This vehicle could save Nissan, if they can make enough of them.
You know… they have e-power kick in other countries.

Easy to say you'd pick this over Toyota or Honda, until it comes time to actually part with your money.
Nissan dealers are willing to deal. Honda maybe. Toyota dealers? You need luck 🤞

Wow it´s amazing, are Toyota and Honda now in trouble???

Awesome
Nissan designs are great! Nissan reliability, body integrity and resale value not so great. And there's the plummeting stock value.
the reliabilty is decent honestly, if the maintenaince is scheduled properly it can run for a long time
Lease it if you're worried about reliability
i would get the corolla cross over this every day
Corolla Cross has too many compromises.

Now, if they’d only go back to “Datsun “.

That's just not true.
@Jan96106 a lot of these new cars may have 145 hp or so excellarate 17 sec range with only 1 person and no a/c on.
That front end is horrendous lol but I wish the CX-30 came in that fun bright blue color
Front end is handsome imo. Cx30 looks silly with all the wheel and side plastic
What an ugly car...don't you have the Yaris Cross in the Usa??? Huge suc6 in Europe
Your videos are always original and of high quality. Thank you for your ability to inspire and surprise!🎰🏝🦆
