High boost 6.7 application. Ran a set of Gator Fasteners (Competition Series). They claimed to be stronger than ARP CA 625+. I called a year later to see how they were holding up for other customers. Turns out that they discontinued them. The Competition series was failing, snapping with zero give at high boost. They proceeded to suggest I went with ARP…This told me everything I needed to know. They’re not proven or R&D properly. We’re running CA 625+ from now on. It’s the gold standard.
I was hoping you were actually going to test them to failure. This wasn't a comparison.
Coming soon! This involves much more work and money to give this comparison!
Installed at least 10 sets of ARPs, no issues to speak of!
We like both. They compete well against each other . ARP has years behind them. Gator has pricing .
We've installed 1000s and thankfully haven't had an issue with either.
The Choate work horse 6.4L motor we bought a few years back had xotic brand headstuds and so far they are still holding.
Happy To hear!!! Thanks for stopping in!

I'm not sure that we have tested their competition series!
I just need to know is the unknown stud an xotic?
I used a set of TrackTech on my Duramax LMM rebuild.. 20,000 miles and all is well. Have you had any experience from this manufacturer?
None at all. We always research products before using and have to see the data .
So there are no differences whatsoever?
We have installed both 100s and or 1000s of them . We have not had failures from either stud thankfully !
