Great video thank you
Look forward to your other tips and been meaning to tell you live the new do 🥰
Hi Eva, thank you so much! 😘
I noticed you already had the first stitch on your needle. I am having difficulty starting so I use the old method to begin. Also having problems with the tension...but I'm not giving up. Thank you🧶I learn something helpful from all your videos🥰
Hi Yvonne, I’m glad you’re not giving up because I know you can do it! I have more continental videos coming and will show knitting the first stitch as well as more ways to hold the tension. 😀
I've been knitting since I was in 4H many maaany years ago lol. ( I'm 57 ) . 😜. Teaching myself continental and this was very helpful!!!! Thank you!!! ❣️☺️
You’re welcome, Roberta! I’m so glad you found it helpful. 4H taught us so many helpful skills! 🍀
First, thank you for your videos, you are helping me become a better knitter(I’m self taught from UA-cam). Is this for knitting two stitches together, or SSK in patterns? Thank you.
Hi Cynthia, I'm so glad you are working to improve your knitting skills. Yes, SSK creates a left-leaning decrease you'll often find in knitting patterns. 😀
Can you do a video on kfbf continental, please?
Hi Katherine, I have a video on KFB using continental: ua-cam.com/video/xeep6mmwySo/v-deo.html To knit a KFBF, after you knit in the back of the stitch, you won't remove the stitch from the left-hand needle. You'll bring the yarn to the back again and knit the stitch in the front one more time.
Hi Nancy, can you tell us what part of the world you're in? I live in western Canada on beautiful Vancouver Island, part of British Columbia. Thanks so much for your videos!
Hi: I am a Continental Knitter. I am trying to learn the magic loop process with a LONG circular needle. I do not want to use a 16" as it is way too small to maneuver.
I have a US #10 circular needle 29" (end to end), with 19" of the plastic cord that I want to use. I have seen many videos but they are with the English knitting method and hold the yarn differently, so I am not able to follow.
Do you have any videos on using the magic loop with a long circular needle?
Let's say I want to make an adult hat about 22" diameter using #4 worsted weight yarn. I guess about 80 cast on stitches will work. Let me know if you have something regarding magic loops. Thanks!
Hi, Yes! I do have a tutorial and video on Magic Loop: blog.nobleknits.com/blog/2018/5/16/how-to-magic-loop
@@nobleknits Hi: thanks for the video, HOWEVER, because the person is using English knitting style rather than Continental style, I found the instructions to be VERY confusing. What I am asking is, do you have a video showing the magic loop knitting in the round for Continental knitters? Thanks again for getting back to me.
@@novembers I'm sorry, I don't have a video of this technique using English style. I did a search for it on Google but every one I found was also using continental. I'll need to add it to my list of knitting videos to create! 😀
How is this different from K2tog?
I’m thinking the same? I was taught that SSK meant you should slip the stitches purlwise then knit as she does in the video. So it would end up different than K2tog.
K2tog makes the stitch lean right. Ssk makes the stitch lean left.
