The dish looks fine with the little bit of bowing, kind of looks like it is supposed to be that way. You could make a mold for a light cardboard to set it is while the resin cures. If you did you could fill (almost) with water to see if it woks right. I see all this in my head…I hope it makes sense. 😂. Anyway, looks very pretty! Thank you! 🌺

@@TheBlueElephantGifts I forgot……if the cardboard mold would work, you could then make a resin piece and make a silicone mold that is more sturdy. Good lucks, 🤗

It’s a pity, you can’t make a mold of the jar, with a better quality silicone. The sides bowing out, once resin is poured, would drive me crazy. Your jar turned out, really pretty. Thanks for another great video. By the way, I’m glad it was you, cleaning up the resin mess and not me! 😂❤💐💐

I always drag my hand or my arm into my resin too. 😂 I really thought you’d need to mix the alcohol inks as well so that’s something I would’ve done as well. 🤷♀️ Super cute jar, it looks be-YOU-tiful. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m actually looking forward to fall so I’m digging the colors. I do the same thing. It doesn’t matter how careful I try to be I get it all over me somehow. I kinda feel like a toddler who has eaten a lollipop and is just a crazy sticky mess all over when I am finished working 🤣🤣
I love using the split cup! I too have dumped resin all over myself for the exact same reason! Ruined my favorite shirt and capris. Definitely a lesson learned!

Ya, I have a whole slew of old grubby clothes that I wear now. I even went so far I put all the clothes in the craft room so I don’t forget to wear them. But my granddaughter still has to remind me to change my clothes!! lol! I just get so wrapped up in getting stuff gathered up in what I’m doing I usually forget to change! Thank goodness for my granddaughter!! Otherwise I wouldn’t have any clothes left to wear! LOL!! 😂😂😂

Ok lady.... Don't hate me. But I'm old enough that when I was growing up, EvErYbOdY smoked. And everybody had the same crushed velvet and wood furniture. And brown was everywhere... This adorable jar you made (and i DO love it a lot) sent me back to those dark living rooms full of brown glass ashtrays, wood paneling and those damn couches that killed you almost every day. Something about the colors in that and the way it fades.. I can't explain it. Lol But now j totally want a cigarette 🔥😉🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, I really truly think it's adorable and very fall-ish. Thanks for hitting the time machine button on my brain tho. 🤭

Love this little jar. I wonder if you set your mold in a bowl of rice, or sand, or something before filling, that might hold the sides straight?

I love the shape of this pot and lid! The alcohol inks were perfect in this. Do you know about the glue trick to keep glitter suspended? Another idea to keep the shape, though it sounds like a lot of work, you could put the mold bottom in a larger bowl or container and surround it with sand

I have something that I am going to try for Tuesdays video for a different mold that I am having the same issue with and maybe if it works for that one it will for this as well. Someone else suggested sand around it but the mold kind of slants where the issue it so I’m not sure if it will work.

Reminds me of amber or smoked glass or something... and I can't find my comment on your last video but I was going to respond to what you responded with about the ring I put the washi tape in. Yup it is a little ring mold like a minuature version of that jar/pot mold you used... and yes it was tough. I only used clear resin as well so there is a noticeable edge, but I sort of forgot about that ring until your last video. Now I may have to go get it back out and finish it to my liking! And I want to say again that your theme song is so cool. I love suno AI songs, and they just get better and better. I'm a musician myself and I'm blown away by the keyboard solo in your theme. Not to mention the chord progression. LOVE LOVE LOVE

If you know someone who does Woodworking, maybe they can make a frame for that mold so it doesn't open on the bottom creating the unlevel bottpm
I may be able to find someone who can do that for me. I’m gonna try something in Tuesdays video with a different mold that I have the same issue with and see if it works for that. If it does I may be able to make it work for this one too
I really like that jar. Where in your house do you do your resin art? I live in a condo and I only have my bedroom or the covered patio,so I haven’t started pouring anything yet. Just doing uv stuff right now 😊
