The more i learn about the Nerubians the more i like them. And there's SO much cool stuff thats posible to do with only there memory strands thingy.

Memory strands are just writing with extra steps. (Or the Earthen memory gems.)
I mean, their memory strands is basically just another form of writing; recorded knowledge. Apexis crystals worked the same way. I believe both Earthen and Draenei have similar "technology".

I'm loving all the Nerubian Lore i'm hoping we get more Lore on the Aqir (we now know they have a Sage and Lord Form), Mantid and Qiraji.
Bout time for a playable bug people in WoW .
I think it feels weird dealing with them as allies. Almost like RoP orcs with wives and kids.
Nerubians should be like giant spiders that trap things in their web, kill and feed. And they can talk, nothing else.
I still think we’re getting playable Kobolds. This expansion gave us a main city and Kobold mounts with the giant rats and the fireflies. Now we need the heritage armor but we’ve kind of gotten it now. Still want playable Murlocs though
Hey really can't write badass female characters, they always make them batshit crazy. Alleria is just Nightwarrior Tyrande again which just was Sylvanas 2.0.
I’m glad that we’re getting a lot of Anduin & Alleria’s plot early in the expansion. We need to really dig deep into Thrall & Jaina for later.

I am not sure if timey-wimey is happening here but I took notice of the Heart having cracks in it during Alleria's confrontation with Xalatath.
Hey Nobbel, not really a big deal now but do you think when Alleria punched Xal she actually hit the Dark Heart? In the next scene when you last hear from Xal, it looks slightly cracked. Not sure if anyone mentioned that or noticed but it would be cool if she intended that after her talk with Xal and then shooting her arrow in the campaign ending cinematic.
Anyway just a thought, always love your videos.

Anduin Wrynn the sad little boy king in distress that keep getting capture by the enemy since MoP. Blizzard is pretty original with him.
Capturing the best diplomat in fictional history is such an easy tool to get the narrative going 😅
He keeps putting himself into that situation, too. But, in this case, he was trying to be his father, which really doesn't work well with any kid, but with a King, that's even worse.
Also notice how male characters tend to die, step down in favor of women, used as cannon fodder, or are reactionaries standing in the way of the strong female characters with grand visions for the future?

Alleria is written painfully dumb. Shooting arrows at Xal'atath didn't work the first 86 times she tried it, so she tries it at least two more times. I guess she thought surely *this* one-liner will make the difference.

Hey Nobbel what do you say to the theories that the giant shard of light in Hallowfall is one of the original shards from the beginning of creation?
Even though I know it's literally impossible canonically, I like to think that giant shard is the tip of Sargeras's sword stabbed through Azeroth's crust, even though it literally makes absolutely no sense

I could see it happen at a later point during the expansion. Their skeleton is similar enough to female draeneis and they seem to have already multiple different hair and face styles. If they come out they likely will be similar to the Dracthyr in that they wont have differing models for males and females.
I wonder if the new race are the ancestors of the trolls.

The missing link that went extinct everywhere except for that cave. Quite like the axolotl who was also found in a cave and is a Stadium between larva and newt. Much like the harronir are a stadium between trolls and nelves.
Their architecture of their tents and citylights is closer to the nelves than the trolls.
They serve the roots of an ancient tree Elun‘ahir and have a connection to the titan of Life. Much like the nelves.
@@Chiillxer But the missing link is about genes, not culture - and the night elves only really got into harmony with nature post-War of the Ancients. They don't seem to share the same origin as night elves (the Well of Eternity) at all, except both probably being descended from trolls - which would in that case be the "missing link" between the night elves and the harronir. I guess convergent evolution might be a more fitting term?

Aleria's turmoil with the void is kinda funny when you contrast it with Xyrella From hearthstone. The Draenai priestess was so convicted that she could handle the void as well as the light, continously phasing between the two after having been afflicted by a void naru shard
Which is even more funny given the naaru’s life cycle is going form void to light and back. I would expect at some point the Draenei would become void infused if their naaru reached their void state

@@simonbehrendt-n4w What are you talking about? The majority of leaders are, and have always been, male. It's fine if things get a LITTLE more equal, right? Azeroth has been stated to be equal between the sexes (barring some slight cultural differences) since 2004.
Also Thrall and Khadgar have already had the limelight for two expansions each.
Xal'atath is Queen Zaltra, and ancient nerubian queen!!!
I found it in a lore book in the City of Threads! Queen Zaltra apparently never "died", they never found her body and assumed she just still wonders somewhere.
Zaltra and Xal'atath even sound similar when pronounced. And she was a "harbinger" which is one of the types of nerubian tittles they could become (in addition to mages and whatever else). Its in the books when you drink a potion of languages. It's really cool, she is now returning to her old city to retake her armies
isnt it said that xal’atath dates back long before the nerubians came into being, having seen what the void lords have done to countless other planets and empires in the past?

Oh lord the dialogue... oh my the freaking script writing and the endelssly boring ass deliveries! *sighs back to wc3* Everything feels oh so stilted and unnatural... as if this was first actors school year rehersal of a play instead of real people :S
Is anyone else curious about what the backstories are for DHs and DKs? Clearly each class lives a pretty long life before we start playing them (especially DKs, they literally live a full life), and I'd kinda be interested in learning about what they got up to before we take control of them.
Dude… these questions were already answered 8 and 16 years ago. Look up the countless videos that already exist.
