This is my favorite fighter from WWII. It's too bad that we didn't make better use of this unique machine.

It had the tendency to spin out of control and since the russians had experience countering this we just gave them a bunch

and the fighting on the Eastern Front was great for the P-39.
and Red Army didn't need Mustangs
I know its probably difficult but i really wish the Cobi planes had more working control surfaces like elevators, rudder and flaps
It’s always a tradeoff with these kinds of models.
Often control surfaces are way too small or specifically shaped to be built from existing bricks. Specialized new pieces will drive production costs per set up and probably make the sets more expensive in the long run. Also more specialized pieces = less actual construction brick building, which can also subjectively make the sets look weirdly frankensteined together.
At the end of the day, I would personally always choose the look on a shelf over functionality.

I think if you don't place those 1x 4 plates at 0.32 sec., it might solve the build flaw. These are some unusual mistakes for Cobi to make. Thanks for the review!

this one has the proper guns, but it could have maybe used more Russian stars on the top part of the wings
Honestly, the end results look good, but those illegal building techniques and that ... what I can only call 'unfortunate' brick stack up in front of the cockpit make me wonder about the stability. Very odd flaws for a COBI product.

You could AT LEAST have said or shown that there is no seat... and not even a joy stick in the strangely empty cockpit ! ... Again, another silly and stupid lack of basic element for an airplane from Cobi... while the canopy is not only big but also very clear.
That plane kill me alot in war thunder game that plane you can get 20 kill with 7,69mm machine gun and 20mm canon

Its LEND-LEASE not "LAND" lease- As in the US LENT war supplies to the UK in exchange for the UK LEASING bases in the Western hemisphere to the US (Bermuda, Caribbean, etc) in case Britain fell to the Nazis and the US had to defend itself. The US allowed some of the supplies to be diverted to the Soviets when the Germans invaded Russia and then went on to supply Russia directly. Being LENT, the supplies were supposed to be returned to the US or paid for at the war's end.
