I saw this episode last month with my grandma when I was staying with her. My favorite part of it was when it was Natalie who said "Here's what happened" and explained the mystery. Also Monk talking to Julie about how he knew Trudy was the one was heartwarming and also got her to rethink about what kind of relationship she wants in the future.
I’m so happy after all these years Netflix finally brought Monk and Psyche . Have watched like many times but still can’t get over it . The best TV series ever made
Hollywood uses guns for dramatic effect, not for education. The only people who might have some idea of how to identify or use a particular gun are the technical advisor (assuming they even have one instead of a general prop master who just know how to put blanks in - you HOPE).
I watched the first monk episode when I was under a minor treatment in a clinic. It boosted my morale. After I was discharged I watched all 125 episodes over a span of next 45 days
It's a cheap printed tee from the boardwalk. All he needed to do was "accidentally" spill something on the shirt to get her to wash it. One wash would pretty much remove all of the "evidence".
Unfortunately, he didn't have anything to spill on her with him at the time. And how is it going to look if he "accidentally" meets her a second time (assuming she's even wearing the same T shirt) and spills something on it?
@@JLee-rt6ve He could break into her home and steal the T-Shirt. Instead of try to mess with her relationship. This brings it much more into the focus than the other thing. Or do nothing at all. There would be a lot of explanations for him to meet the burglar. Maybe a random or planned meeting by the burglar, who had decided to break into the house. That he tried to get some information or so from him then. The shirt could be an explanation to get him off the hook.
@@danielschoch4881 idk this was kinda one of those where it was inevitable cus if he broke into the house to steal the shirt as you suggest that still brings the shirt into focus even if he stole other things cus who tf steals a shirt at all 😂
2 Columbo homages- "Old Fashioned Murder" - the opening murder scene is taken from the museum shooting. "Identity Crisis"- the incriminating photo at the amusement park.
What Monk should have done is given relationship advice to Tim; specifically to stay far away from somebody like Julie who was willing to dump him the moment she thought she had a chance with somebody “better.”
😮 This is so similar to the Brazilian au pair and the IRS agent case happening now. The husband lured a man to his house, and killed both the man and his wife.
did he really need to do this? like, none of them was actively investing the scam. Only monk would have noticed the picture on the shirt, and he wasn't even roped in on that case. He really could have just taken the risk that litterly no one would have noticed and gone about his day.

How do I watch online? Rgds.
@@heyram2258 Peacock. My grandma had a subscription.
I like the follow up on the last scene in the video. He asked where is the shirt and Natalie said Julie burn it LOL

Monk is on Netflix, not Psych.
Peacock is cheaper

@@louise9200 Ah, makes sense now.
At 2:00 the bullet hole marked "7" magically moves to the left while on screen. I never noticed that before.
Must have been a cut. It’s so obvious, how did continuity not see it?
Lol "Where's the shirt that Clay got you?" Julie "I threw it away" "You threw it away?" "Yeah along with other stuff Clay has gotten me"
Definitely wasn’t a Glock that the husband used to shoot the intruder 😂
The show never gets the guns right so what to you expect

Well... you uh... you didn't check really well did you? That was NOT a Glock.

I remember this episode of columbo with a photo at the pier.
Turn it into a t-shirt and boom 😂

That kind of thing is exactly why later they're trying to get the back up photos
This’ll probably be the closest thing we’ll get to a Columbo-esch Monk episode

Nice seeing someone else have the “Here’s what happened” moment

Natalie : "Julie burned the t-shirt "
Too bad they didn’t show the full scene at the funeral where Monk and Natalie get the ashes mixed up.😂😂😂

"Why? What happened to the shirt?"
I like how they ask does Julie know about this. I'm with them😂 screw telling the guy why they broke up too screw finding her a boyfriend.
I hope it wasn't the same Dewey who Randy mentored...
How much easier would it have been to just 'accidentally' spill paint on the shirt?
There are two cases like this that happened in the US in the past 10 years
First comment. This is the first time for me. I'm so happy.
The Invisible Man
This sounds like that one episode of Columbo
Check out the case with the Brazilian au pair and the IRS agent. It's soo similar to this
The letter “H” is silent in the Spanish language. They both pronounced it incorrectly. Why did they let that pass production? Tsk, tsk
White shoes with tuxedo. Wtf
wait so someone started flirting with Natalies daughter and she just broke up? Is her daughter gonna get a future onlyfans? 😅
Sounds like it 🤷🏻♂️
Karen...the name is enough
This is basically a copy of a Columbo episode.
