@@Fluidride Hey, I wanna try and get another lesson but I don't know since I'm only gonna be home for 11 days this month. The French Alps sound pretty cool! Who is in the French Alps?
@@bengillepsie4549 Simon and I (Linnea) are in the alps now! And a rad crew from Seattle and Oregon. I hope you can join us for another lesson, or tour!
Honestly I love it. The bike rolls so much faster and it eats up the bumps without getting caught up and losing speed. The 27.5 wheel in the rear makes it an easy transition. But right now I'm not able to find a coil that fits my weight so it's a little harsher than I'd like
Love youre channel. Do you have 1 finger on the brakes while you are jumping, ore all fingers on the handlebar? Hope to heare from you. Greetings from the netherlands! 😘
Hello Jeffrey! I always ride with a finger on each brake. It's a great habit to form if you can. Some riders even grab a bit of back brake when airborne if the front wheel is a bit too high. (The gyroscopic effect brings the front wheel back down). Thanks for tuning in from the Netherlands! -Simon
@@Fluidride Hmm.. I think that height would be good for me. The local trails are nearly all twice the height of that and I ride around most of them. I know it's mostly in my head but I just don't feel confident enough, from one week to the next I either ride them or opt to go around. May have to make one.
Great tutorial. I like how your tips are practical for weekend warriors of all levels. Excellent work!
Thanks so much for saying this! It's definitely our goal to be relatable to all different riders. We appreciate the support! -Linnea
Very intuitive tutorial for a Very specific problem. Love your style guys
Thanks for your support - we appreciate it! -Linnea

Nice to know we experience similar growth pains in jump progression.
Super great info. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for watching Kevin! Glad you're finding some takeaways. -Coach Kagen
Very good Linnea!! How do you feel with this mullet? is it too different than the setup you used before?

Love your channel. What would be the perfect measuements for a begginer ramp ?
Funny you should ask. We are just now having some built and plan to do some tutorials both about the ramps themselves, and how to use them.
Any news on these tutorials? @@Fluidride
5:41 “if you do it perfectly” 😆
Hahaha of yes of course, so simple 🤣. -Linnea
I love you Linnea!!!
She's been crushing it!!! - Coach Kagen
How do you feel after the clavicle surgery? How long did it take for you to get back on the bike?
Great lessons
Thank you Paul!

Did I catch this right: more passive legs = nose heavy/rear kicky & faster speed = nose heavy/rear kicky? TY.
Well I think I'm smarter than before I watched this video. This has been a question I have been trying to answer for a while
That's awesome Dan! We're glad that you found the answer you've been searching for. :) - Coach Kagen

Thanks for youre quick response Simon.
We will keep practicing on the jumps.
🤙
Simon hits the jump at like 30mph
Me: O_O
Linnea: The fast one looks the hardest to me
Simon *slightly surprised voice*: Okay
🤣🤣🤣 hahaha ok this made me laugh -Linnea
Right as I read this they said this🤣🤣🤣
Great practice drill. What's the height of the kicker you're using? Keep up the good work !
It's about 12" high. I bought it at discount ramps a few years back but haven't seen that exact one anywhere since. Works great! -Simon

Am I the only one worried about the phone being forgotten on that wooden log?
