It was one of the only truly high quality PC Super Mario fangames at the time (2000's and early 2010's) which made it very popular amongst the Mario community, whether it was diehard fans who were looking for even more games after having completed the official ones, or people who didn't own a Nintendo system and wanted to play some Mario easily and quickly on their PC (not everyone knew about emulation). The Mario Worker (level and world editor that came along the main Mario Forever game) project was also something unheard off amongst casual players, it was made more than a decade before Super Mario Maker which was the first official introduction to Mario level editing. Hey LooPer, may I ask if this iceberg is able to be solved by people who are not in the know, by the means of them doing deep research, or are most things in here first hand informations/first reveals, I'd really like to know, thanks!
I love this vid My childhood game has an entire lore, God Damn! I also have just one theory that I'd love to add to this vid because I found it rather strange to me and I couldn't get it out of my mind. But I don't wanna do it over comments
While this video is alright, it does confuse me a ton. Some of the info shared, as well as some of the pronunciation just sounds a little dodgy, or like you're speaking around in circles, or even stuttering. The varying quailty in sound between your regular recordings and the ones that were made later can be excusable, but the volume change is so incredibly drastic, and should've been fixed in editing Also, Tier 7 should've been cut entirely, as it was filled with annoying, fake entries made just for the "spooky" factor. Still, I can appreciate the effort, as I can see that you've actually tried to make the video understandable and entertaining. I think a remake of this video (with a better iceberg, one that's not confusing nor filled with annoying, fake entries) would be wonderful to see, especially with the fact that this video was made 2 years ago, and there's bound to be more stuff about MF (rumours, controversy, new hidden content) that has come out since then.
It's painful to admit that the audio quality sucks. I had PC problems and all of this was recorded with a phone, not to mention this was all edited by an another person which made this harder for me, because I didn't want to bother the 3rd party too much about it and just compile my voice lines into one. Tier 7 is a 50/50 for me at this point, but I do prefer for it to be cut out entirely, lol. Anyway, a complete rendition of this does sound like an interesting offer. If I find time to record all of ot properly, I'll give it a try, although there is not much additional rumour or controversy to add, honestly
@@Looper231Xd thanks. its always so damn sad for me, how buziol fucked up a great game with alot of potential for more and more updates, worlds, items, enemies etc. he even had a growing fanbase that loved his game. At least fans gave MF a second life and thats what we can be proud of
In short, the iceberg is mostly centered around the community behind it, but there are also some facts about the original game and its developer. It shouldn't be hard to understand because it's told in a simple language and has subtitles as well
@@walidbentaher There still are some bits and pieces, but not enough for a whole part 2 video, maybe only for an updated version of the one currently uploaded
In my opinion the iceberg could use less facts about community, local memes, creators in the first two tiers and focus more on the content of the original. Tier 1 should also have the malware fact, as it is very popular
@@candystealer420 False Positive. Clickteam Fusion's compiler is really bad amd causes apps made on it trigger antiviruses all the time. If you are interested in a truly virus free Mario Forever, there is a new revival in the making called "Mario Forever: Community Edition".
Annoying when an iceberg video is interesting for most of the tiers, only to go off the deep end with laughably stupid trollpasta nonsense at the very end. Really wish people would stop ruining their videos with this garbage.
@@Looper231Xd ??? What definition are we using for interesting? If I wanted to read bad creepypasta I'd just go read Sonic.exe, or the worse sequel that has somehow been getting traction lately. I don't want that in otherwise-informative videos.
@@Looper231Xd Am I... not supposed... to take it seriously? Out of all the iceberg video creators I've seen, you are the first one to think there's no genuine interest in the format, and that it's just a complete joke. Like genuinely, do you not think the first 90% of this video is actually interesting? Were you producing this under the assumption nobody would care, and people are just supposed to skip to the part where you recite creepypasta cliches everybody's already read a thousand times? Or is this video supposed to be a creepypasta, and you gravely misunderstood what people mean when they say it requires buildup?
@@graysongdl I've never said that the whole Iceberg content is a joke, lol. You were talking about the last tier right? You got my answer. My childhood game has an entire lore, God Damn! I also have just one theory that I'd love to add to this vid because I found it rather strange to me and I couldn't get it out of my mind. But I don't wanna do it over comments
If you want to share it, my DMs in Discord are always open open! (looper231)

You just gained a new sub👍😃👍
While this video is alright, it does confuse me a ton. Some of the info shared, as well as some of the pronunciation just sounds a little dodgy, or like you're speaking around in circles, or even stuttering. The varying quailty in sound between your regular recordings and the ones that were made later can be excusable, but the volume change is so incredibly drastic, and should've been fixed in editing
Also, Tier 7 should've been cut entirely, as it was filled with annoying, fake entries made just for the "spooky" factor.
Good video nice work
Hey i would like to know about the drama you talked about the video that lasted a year could you do a video about it?
I have an unfinished script lying around. I'd be down to do it eventually
Awesome video and nice work! I just found I missed a lot of details in MF xd
Glad you enjoyed!
Hey btw do u know what happened to Soig2? Can't see his world 9 video anywhere.. thx
He deleted it without any reason, unfortunately. It's even unknown when did he do that.

You have a sensual voice looper XD!😂😂, excellent job! 🖒
I was hella sleepy when recording this xd
Could you please tell me, are the official mf versions on the softendo site (such as 7.02) still malwared? or are they safe rn?
It's 50/50, I think. I'd not recommend downloading from there. You can download safe versions from TheMarioVariable's website instead
@@Looper231Xd thanks. its always so damn sad for me, how buziol fucked up a great game with alot of potential for more and more updates, worlds, items, enemies etc. he even had a growing fanbase that loved his game. At least fans gave MF a second life and thats what we can be proud of
@@filipooos8445 There is also a ROM hack of SMW that recreates Mario Forever based on v4.0.

I mean I have Mario forever with buziol games logo so if im right its a beta version?
MF games until 4.0 have the Buziol logo. If you could specify the version
This is so usefull
Was Mario Forever 1.16.45 fake or real? I googled it but i couldn't find anything
Everything in tier 7 is fake
can someone explain the iceberg to me shortly please . i didnt understand mcuh things
In short, the iceberg is mostly centered around the community behind it, but there are also some facts about the original game and its developer. It shouldn't be hard to understand because it's told in a simple language and has subtitles as well
Can there be a part 2 to this iceberg?
50/50. This video needs to be redone quality wise. I'll maybe add some new things to there, but definitely not making a part 2 out of it
@@Looper231Xd Oh what there isnt much more info about mario forever other then the information that was in this video?
@@walidbentaher There still are some bits and pieces, but not enough for a whole part 2 video, maybe only for an updated version of the one currently uploaded
@@Looper231Xd oh I see
Well I hope to see an updated version soon
In my opinion the iceberg could use less facts about community, local memes, creators in the first two tiers and focus more on the content of the original. Tier 1 should also have the malware fact, as it is very popular
The content of the original wasn't that rich enough for an iceberg to form, in my opinion, but your feedback is always valuable!

Annoying when an iceberg video is interesting for most of the tiers, only to go off the deep end with laughably stupid trollpasta nonsense at the very end. Really wish people would stop ruining their videos with this garbage.
It's not interesting that way
@@Looper231Xd ???
What definition are we using for interesting? If I wanted to read bad creepypasta I'd just go read Sonic.exe, or the worse sequel that has somehow been getting traction lately. I don't want that in otherwise-informative videos.
@@graysongdl Out of 83 comments, you are the first one to take this way too seriously
My aim was to only document every known fact the team could gather and organize it by tiers. For me, personally, 90% of the video was not as interesting as for those who didn't know anything about anything if this game.
@LooPeR231 are you working on that drama vid ?
