South African government must motivate these youngsters to open their own business. There will be no more shacks and people can live in nice houses. I bought 100 blocks at R8 each. Can you build 2 storey house on these blocks with or without columns? What ratio of cement and sand you used. I think I did not understand what you said.... Plz reply
Congratulations! This is a very informative video. Is the ratio of sand to cement 2 bags of cement to 5 wheelbarrows (14 shovel heaps of sand per wheelbarrow)? What is the weight of the bag of cement you're using?
i have 1 question....what if u dont do the water cure for 7 days....what happens to the blocks if its just air dry 24 hrs.....whats the outcome of that?
Very educational. I think this is something well be doing in the UK before long as the price of building materials are getting to high. We pay £4 or more per concrete hollow block now.
Just so you know next time, your blocks had dried out too much to bother with the water, next time cover then with a sheet of plastic with stones on the corners
