Thank you for the updates! We are from ND, and my son (4) loves the song Iditarod trail from Hobo Jim, so we are keeping up this year with the Iditarod Trail because of that song!

Is there a live stream for the race? Would be nice if someone filmed the journey

Yes they film it. You can make a donation and watch the livestream on the Iditarod page.

Are there veterinarians stationed along the route? Just from watching videos of the race, there's isn't evidence of the dogs being checked over.

There are vets at the check points. It is an amazing program.
