    Wow, you have advanced in the amount and severity of the motor tics. I recently watched your "Swearing Tourettes' video where you explained or de-bunked the myths, I can definitely see the worsening of that aspect. God bless and try to get some more rest.

    I've just watched your video on coprolalia and its unfortunate that your motor-tics have gotten worse. But one thing I did notice in this vid is your gasping tic seems to be a lot less, or it could be because this is a much shorter vid. But I imagine the tic which causes you to gasp would make you so much more tired due to it effecting oxygen levels.
    I also noticed this vid is from 2016 and being that its 2018 now I hoep you've managed to do much better. Take care and all the best to you.

      Tourettes has a similar Chemistry to Schizophrenia and i can confirm its just as bad a trip as when someone with schizophrenia smokes.... eg Closing all curtains, turning all lights off, no Music.... when i smoke i feel cold, and like theres a "gloomness" that like a chill... not a fun way to take the edge off..

    i wonder how much has this to do with artificial microwaves, antennes and all the crap that is projected in the ether right now . (there is a huge difference between living energy, for example of the sun, and the crap that is produced artificially... reductionist science that we sadly still have, does not make a difference between alive and dead/artificial (and listen who really wants to!) i am sensitive to electro , wifi and so on, and it got worse when the technology "advanced" now with the 4G ( i wish "advancement"/development had something to do with health, "organicness" and ethics...) also depends on where i am , if the place is too much irradiated/exposed to radiation. Sometimes i get this eye muscle vibration, other times is swearing like a tic. I found your videos and i have been wondering if this is not triggered by ether contamination like when people are sensitive to it ...? what about where you sleep as one spends a lot of hours in bed, and this kind of radiation go through walls, of course. It can be meassured, and one can protect a space, there is more and more information about this, although there is still a lot of prejudice around this, and is almost tabu to talk about.
    I send a big hug to you , keep your spirit high! Thank you for coming forward!!

    • @kacecolder5875

      Every case is different. Some people can benefit from CBIT, but not everyone does. I was once in a sauna, cussing up a storm, with a guy who claimed to be a nurse. He immediately began suggesting that I change my words with more socially acceptable words (yes, he was incredibly arrogant), and I had to keep telling him it doesn't work like that for me. He might have been a nurse, but he had no clue about Tourette Syndrome.

    • @snappleandcats8045
      @snappleandcats8045  7 років тому +2

      I have had that suggested to me as well. If it worked that way, there would be a number of things I wouldn't be doing, not just swearing. To me, that's like saying, you should walk on crutches instead of using a wheelchair because it'll make me feel better. I hope that makes sense.

    • @snappleandcats8045
      @snappleandcats8045  7 років тому +4

      The "cup" sound your hearing is more a random noise than anything and I didn't really come up with Fiji as a tic. You can't really choose your tics. Nobody knows for sure why certain things become tics, but like Jess Thom might say, anything I've ever known or experienced has the potential to become a tic.

      I'm not quite sure how I feel about hypnosis, but I'll look into it when I have the time.

    • @Descyphal
      @Descyphal 7 років тому

      I wouldn't bother. Hypnosis is not an actual thing. Manipulation of ones psyche is something one does internally, with or without hypnosis. Meditation(albeit also not an actual thing, but the mental constitution training aspect of it, is) would be a better form of discipline than hypnosis. Don't fall for the snake oil salesman of the medical forum, that is hypnosis.
      That said, Marijuana will absolutely help with the stress, the tension and the muscle ache/fatigue. More over, from my understanding of the research that is out there, it will also help you reduce the frequency of tics. More over, despite it being associated with negatives, as a schedule 1 drug in the US, it's absolutely NOT as bad as taking any chemical based synthetic drug. Even at it's worst.
      That said, mental constitution exercises, and even working out will have a positive effect, and is purely natural/non-chemical solution to some overtly complicating tic spurs. A friend of mine's dad, was much, much worse than you are in terms of the physical tics, and when he did things like pushups, situps, crunches, etc, he found it relaxed his mind, being focused, as well as it had a healthy effect, as he(over time) became quite fit. Nothing definitive, but as a possible solution you could perhaps try this method and report back to your audience on which activity/method you find helps best.

      Caleb Shouse sometimes, but sometimes not. Sometimes I don't know a tic is coming and have no control over it, like a hiccup, but most of the time it's like a sneeze. I can feel it coming and sometimes I can hold it back a little bit, but eventually I have to do it.

      TwisterLord untastful and unfunny. Hope you realize you’re making a joke about a medical condition and it’s sorta sad you derive comedy from someone’s uncontrollable and never ending misery. Good to know people like you still exist to ruin all that’s good in this world
