i LOVE Roger in the books, Roger in the tv series is okay but i adore this scene. It shows that Roger cares and wants to help Claire to reunite with the man she truly loves.
[Spoiler alert] And so, some time later, Jamie beats the man responsible for finding him and reuniting him with his wife and daughter, to a pulp. Outlander sure knows how to drama
Roger incidentally is the descendant of his uncle too... it always bothers me that Jamie doesn’t fully grasp that Roger worked really hard to find Jamie for Claire. I’m not so much as angry at Jamie for it, but the irony makes it so tragic.
@@melissinha73 Concerning shabby treatment of Roger, Jamie is an even bigger douche in the book than in the TV show, "Drums Of Autumn." (It's been 19 years since I read the series, so I don't remember when Roger gets sold to the Mohawk by Jamie or exactly which book it happens in.) But no, I don't think anyone ever gives Roger credit for getting Jamie and Claire back together.
@@dailycarolina. its because roger is who shevsaw bree with , arguing with, and left with. Then roger and bree have an argument, she gets hot headed and tells him to leave.
Met him at comic con in Chicago. Even better in real life. I could have just listened to him and Sam all day. Unfortunately I had to Skype call with Sam as he was still in Scotland. Still an experience with these two.
Book Roger is my favourite character, sadly in the series they have weakened him substantially, I do really likeRichard Rankin though he depicts Roger as well as he can given the scripts he has, but sadly not as in the books, there he is stronger, protective and although he has to adapt to the 18C he does way quicker in the books 💕
Seriously they drink like fish. I thought maybe it was the accent that made it difficult to understand at times. I think it just might be that they are so hammered they are having trouble spitting out the words

That was a terrible mistake caused by the lady who was with Brianna
Why?

When people hate on Roger, they should remember this scene !!!

I think Richard Rankin is just brilliant in the part. When I read the books I visualise him as Roger.
I gotta say roger looks better with this hairstyle and beard. ❤️ Just my personal opinion
Roger est trop top il a trouvé Jamie Claire a du mal à y croire ...🤔🤷
Love is back and on the time road again

As an American, I seldom have trouble understanding them. I think it’s just you lol
@@Anonymous-ng4wc seriously? I actually meant the Scottish accent. I understand it perfectly now, but then again I’ve watch it many many times.
Thank you roger
