What I like about Goblin Slayer is that he is a strong character, but he is not invincible. He has limits and needs his party to overcome certain foes. Seeing him collapsed in a pool of his own blood with this music playing in the background gets that point across sternly. A problem with a lot of anime is its protagonists being overpowered and not really seen facing any sort of adversity or overcoming any adversity with ease.
Alot of anime have too much adversity... Ther is nothing wrong with an OP MC, depending on how it is done... Sometimes, a more simple system can be entertaining as well... Like I love standard Shounnen stuff like Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach, but sometimes the long drawn out fights can be... Boring, or overly dramatic... Sometimes I like things like "That time I was reincarnated as a Slime" where the fights are entertaining, but quick, and come to a clean conclusion at the end that is unambiguous.
@@Chrisfragger1 I don't like the simplicity in the characters and it is strictly entertainment Id agree with the post above people coming together to solve a problem which is really like. Beautiful and just shows how much people can with eachother not against
Think his party just makes him more human since he can't use his normal techniques he does. They ligit tell him he can't kill goblins in the efficient ways he uses. Fire,poison gas etc
In his breath, he shall slay and protects for the weak. In battle, he shall greet death as a friend. In his last breath, he shall be offer by the heaven a choice to choose a path. And in death, he shall find peace... Live to fight, die in honor, rest in peace.
Ah man, I can't stop listening to this. So haunting, and it's lyrics fit in perfectly with the scene of a story I'm writing. If I had one gripe it's that sometimes it's hard to tell what they're saying sometimes.
Reading Goblin Slayer i feel like if i were the main character living my own isekai in the light novel because any character haven't any name so i imagine Goblin Slayer have my name and the goblins are the bad people that hurted me in past years.
