- Is my head gasket good? It presents that way. So why is coolant leaking into engine oil? Front cover seal? Oil cooler? There is no oil in coolant. Coolant is clean. I use green coolant, which mechanic just told me that green coolant can cause pitting behind the water pump and cause coolant to leak into engine from there.
When the head gaskets go you will know it. It will blow coolant all over underneath the hood when pulling a load. Could be a front cover look behind water pump. Not common but could be cavitated
Did a coolant test under load... its the front cover.. leaking due cavitation
vladtexas glad you figured it out .
@@vladtexas why would it cavitate and how could you eliminate the cavitation.
Temps should be way higher than that
