Hi..I liked your vlogs..few doubts..Niyo global card..you said you tried the card in two lounges and one lounge accepted the card..how many lounges are there in Bangalore airport..does this card gives lounges facilities in all international airports of India. Also , did you take Transit visa while traveling through Abu Dhabi.

Did they allow you to take a handbag or backpack? As they mentioned any purse must be inside the cabin bag itself.
To be on the safe side. we took only one hand baggage as mentioned in the Etihad website. However, they were allowing small purse and laptop bags, but that was case to case basis. Please use your own discretion.
I had a flight on 6 sep from Ahmedabad to Abudhabi and then Abudhabi yo Toronto. And in abudhabi I have a layover of 11 hours. So I need a transit visa for the layover if I don't go out from the Airport?

Glad that you liked our video. Coming to your question , For UAE - 48-Hour Transit Visa is Free of charge and UAE 96-Hour Visa is for AED 50. You can also check the official website of the airline you are flying.
Do i need for transit visa in abu dhabi layover for delhi to toronto by ethiad
We had taken Etihad flight from Bangalore to Toronto with 9 hrs 55 mins layover in Abu Dhabi. Since our connecting flight was also Etihad no transit visa was asked from us. However, since it was a very simple 15 mins job to apply for transit visa for Abu Dhabi, we got one to be on the safer side !!
We get VISA in a simple online application made - www.etihad.com/en/fly-etihad/visas | Note you can apply only 14 days before your travel date

Did you pack your luggage exactly 23 kgs or more than that I mean a buffer of 500 GM's extra ..we have our flight in 4 days same ethiad...all my bags are weighing 23.5, 23.7 are so....not knowing what to remove..since all are essentials I have 2 year old toddler with me
Hi Priya, for us we were under 23 kg. Last minute we did take out few small items to make it under 23kg. But I guess 23.5 and all should be fine !! If all is essential then don't fret much, that's manageable !! Have a safe journey and welcome to Canada 🇨🇦 in advance !!

Luggage weight is checked, even for cabin baggage !! Strict , it depends from airport to airport and person to person.

Can we carry cabin bag + laptop bag?
In Etihad, they allow only 1 piece cabin bag. We carried only that. However, at airport they were allowing small size laptop bags in addition to 1 cabin bag. Please don't make it bulky as they might object.
Did you collect the luggage from Abu Dhabi or not?
No the luggage directly reached Toronto since our connecting flight was also Etihad!

Iam going to travel with etihad from Hyderabad to toronto.layover is just 1 hr 40 mins.... Is that time will be sufficient
Just check if your connecting flight ✈ is from same Terminal. If that's the case I guess you would be good 👍

You can carry one cabin bag in Etihad Airways as per their website. But we saw few people carry small laptop bag as well in addition to one cabin bag. We however had taken one bag in cabin to avoid any issues.

Since our connecting flights were from the same carrier (Etihad) from Bangalore to Abu Dhabi and then from Abu Dhabi to Toronto, our checked in luggage was sent directly from Bangalore to Toronto. Only cabin luggage was with us in Abu Dhabi. Hope this helps

Right now the weather is perfectly fine !! No need to carry any winter jackets. Normal warm hoodies should do. Temperature is varying around 15-22 degrees. So you can plan accordingly. Happy Journey !!

International lounges are free (almost ( INR 2 ) is charged), if you have cards which have lounge access. We had used Niyo Global in March. Please check the current status of cards which allow lounge access and you can get one.

@@JunedKhan-bq5vqi had 2hr halt but due to Heavy Rainfall my flight was delayed from Ahmedabad so i reached the exact time for the Toronto flight and they didn't ask for a transit visa
