That was really insightful. Years thinking only about skier-path were shortsighted when you explain handle-arc as well. Looking forward to getting on the water and skiing with more awareness of the handle-arc. Thanks!
Dang I wish I understood what you are explaining! I need to change my form, just how after 40 years of loading the line and gritting out a tug of war with the boat.
When you talk about the handle arc, what line length do you find you start to feel the handle starting to create that bigger arc and pulling you higher onto the boat?
Nice explanation, hopefully we will be skiing soon and we will post some videos, not sure if the slalom course will be useable though, will virtual skiing be ok?
Hi Joel For freesking, which rope length would you recomend for getting little help from the swing. I'm on 15 off and feel like i don't "shoot out" after the second wake at all Cheers, Kristoffer
Joel Howley check out the CoachNow app..... Mike dowdy has just set up a wakeboarding coaching site on it and it is amazing, and free. instagram.com/tv/CAyZyEYg6y-/?igshid=wopt99n5mj5b
Here's my video. I really need to find a way stop breaking at the waist on my offside. First half is free skiing. Second half is an attempt at the course. Any advice/tips/drills would be greatly appreciated! www.dropbox.com/s/pf159d4rc1i67lu/BAD%20SKIING%201.mp4?dl=0

This is great dude. You should utilize Connolly’s art department and have them illustrate some stuff for you.
😂 next time
Great to see your passion, doing it with a compass is fun :-)
I’d love to challenge angus to some skiing and golfing. Ski in the morning can’t feel your arms for golfing in the afternoon!
All said this is the way slolom is. It's always been this way

Hi Joel, Love watching you ski. Might be easier for you if you had a flip chart or board to write on. Regards from Belfast Northern Ireland.
