Now Champ...We have been over this many a times before. You NEVER have to apologize for spending time with your family! Ever... Always so cool to see how these other mills work. I like how each one has evolved as markets and current employee skill sets at the time allowed. I sometimes wonder if any mills have every made it with new equipment? Seems most of it is bought out of liquidation or bankruptcy and then refitted into another mill. Which it ends up finally making someone some money. Poor feller who gets the new sticker shock on this equipment nevers seems to make it. 😕 Another thing that always impresses me is the elaborate catwalks and handrail systems they all have.😮 A fabrication team is needed to just build them! Thanks for the tour, Wade! Good stuff...👍
Thanks Eddie you are the best buddy!! You give all of us courage ill see you again soon and try and poke my camera at ya if you don't object I wanna get some of you guys to give some thoughts sometime on a vid maybe come up and get you all running with the new rig

Interesting vid, keep em coming. That mill i hauled into for stumpjumper in the late 90's was impressive And very efficient. They ran 2 shifts then third shift was maintinace. Per shift would saw 75/80 tho bdft And they also imported to there stacker system an additional 50 tho bdft. From smaller mills and then kiln dry it. One in tuned mill
Awesome vidja Wade 👍👍👍👍. These vidjas are my favorite too watch. And your hand cuttin vidjas. Are you thinking about changing your head saw over too a band mill in the future? Thanks
hello wade i hope your doing well i love your videos n i hope you and family and company are doing well i know many company's are struggling because of the cost of diesel bobby Goodson of swamp loggers sold out i hope puddin is still taring through wood keep it up buddy take care
Great vidja Tater! Love these sawmill tours! I laugh how you call yourself a mom and pop outfit! Not sure what that makes me with my Woodmizer?😂 It’s cool to see you guys still trying to improve even when you’re cranking it out!
I've sawed both ways. At the end of the track vs cab by the saw. There is no way you can see pin knots and small defects sitting at the end of the tracks, you can't see shake either, which is a threat to ripping the saw off the mill. I'd rather turn my head back and fourth. The pros however is less miles on the track and carriage, better production from less distance traveled. Faster primary breakdown.
@@robertkuipers9422 I am willing to bet that your ears understand Tator, much better then auto sub titles ever could! Any business..... People are the greatest asset. The greatest machines will fall apart of not for the people. You got it right Wade!!

@@LoggerWade thay are a good company to rely on. I’d love to come see ur mill sometime.
Another reason they eliminated the saw cab being in front of the headrig is speed. The log is closer to the headrig.

Wade, did those tours make you decide to change your sawmill setup in any way? If so, what are you planning?
Got ya yes buddy but gonna take some time and patience to see what this market is gonna do and finish a few live projects and regroup
At the Anderson mill. The resaw looks to have to much empty space in between cants. Nice mill though
I hope you get new one completely mill 😅

What do you think about Bobby Goodson going out? Terrible…
Yeah wasn't good but if they got there stuff in order they be setting good as long as they find jobs for there people
I moved to NC to work for him. Ended up in another direction. Shame that this 4 Gen logger has been beat down by politicians.
