I’m teaching my 8 year old granddaughter to sew. She is an avid in-bed reader. This summer, she and I will be making one of these for her bed. Thank you, thank you!
Oh, your grandaughter will just love doing this with you😀
I’ll never get all my projects done with all the great videos you keep coming up with.
agreed, LOl
I know! Same here!
haha. Thanks Pat😀
Thanks for the tip with the ribbon
A great tip, I never thought about it. 😅
You're welcome Elke. 😀
Oh my goodness you have been busy. Such a great idea. Thanks Christine 😊
Thanks Janet. I just realised this week those patterns you sent me were your own design. Do you sell them online?
Hi Christine, yes they are mine, you can use them I don't sell them. I did them for Janome club and lessons. You can put your own twist on them if you want. Hope they are of some use to you. Thanks Christine 😊
@janetsheehan6983 thanks Janet. I really like the needle case and was thinking about a tutorial for that if it's OK with you?😀
No worries Christine...
I have a very small bedroom and this is going to help me tremendously with my limited storage space! I am going to put some buttonholes in mine, make one of the pockets the size of a box I already have so I can put my phone and tablet in it. The box will be so air can circulate around the phone (so as not to get hot) and the buttonhole will be to thread my charge cord through! One of my only outlets is behind the headboard and I get tired of trying to find it when if falls underneath! Thank you Christine for yet another problem solving video! These will also make excellent gifts!
That sounds like a great storage solution for you Laura. Great ideas😀
These are wonderful for using in the hospital. Keeping things close at hand. Thanks for another great make.😊
What a fabulous idea Debbie😀
Thanks Christine, don't think your videos will be too simple, we love watching you, whatever you make 😊
Thank you Jane😊
Thank you Christine. I think with a few studs it would make a great project bag used by cross stitchers. As a under mattress it would also be great when stitching in bed. Take care and thanks again🤗🇬🇧
That's a great idea Mrs Miggins😀
Great idea, I am going to make one for my daughter 😊. I wish you a great weekend.
Thanks Giovanna😀
Great pattern! A smaller version could be made for the arms of a couch or recliner. Thanks for a wonderful tutorial.
That's a great idea K. 😀
My mattress is too deep for one of these. :(
That was a simple but great idea, thank you for sharing
Thanks Eve. Glad you enjoyed this😀
Thank you! It looks simple but classy. Great idea!
Thanks Betty😀
Hmmmmm. You've given me something to think about. Reviewing all the items I have on my nightstand I see that at least 7 items could be "hanging out" on the side of my bed which would reduce the mess - both visually and physically - on the furniture.
Whenever my dad needed to explain something he would say "get me some talking paper". That's what I'm going to do - get some talking paper. Time to sketch.
Thanks Christine. I ran across a video of yours a few weeks ago and I appreciate your knowledge and explanation of what to do and when.
My pleasure Janice. Thank you😁
Love the bed side caddy. I could also see it as a book bag. Or purse, or making 2 caddy and sewing them together for both sides of the bed.
Making one long one for both sides is a fabulous idea Christy😀
Oh I like this idea, thank you Christine, would you have an idea for assistance walker pocket bag, please,
Could you maybe just shorten the end of this current project and then add snaps to hook around the bar?
I'm planning on doing one very soon Faye. 😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs excellent, thank you
Thank you so very much. Have a great day. Blessings to you.
Thank you Geraldine. You too😀
I like this idea Christine and it’s really easy. This is something that I need on my bed. It would be easier than putting all that stuff on my bedside tables. TFS. Hope you’re having a good weekend.
Thanks Pamela. It's certainly a great space saver😀
That looks very handy and it can be adjusted to any size. I have some canvas painter's drop cloth that should work so I'll see what I can do with that. Thanks for the idea.
You're very welcome. The drop cloth should be perfect!😁
Thank you for this tutorial! I’ve had requests to make this and you have been so helpful!
That's fabulous Mary. Happy sewing!😀
Quick, easy and useful. Thanks for directions on this project. I’ll make one for my DD’s guest room. I really appreciate how you always share such great info! Thank you, Christine ❤
Thanks Cyn. That's a great idea for a guest room too😀
You’re actually the fourth one of these I’ve seen and none of the others who were making it for a couch arm or arm of a recliner showed HOW it would stay hanging on the furniture. 😆 At least thankfully you showed the bed! Thank you so much!
You're very welcome Morgan. Thank you😁
That is just what I wanted for my motor home, thankyou 😊
You’re welcome Fiona. Thank you😊
Thank you for this! My To Do for Today was to make a bedside caddy for the bed at the trailer (it opens for the season this coming weekend). I knew what kind of design I wanted but couldn't figure out dimensions. I watched your video, and my caddy is now finished and packed up for the upcoming weekend :) Fortunately the contents I would be putting in it, were here at home so I was able to test them out for a perfect fit :)
That's awesome Sandra. Great job😀
Thanks Christine.....
I had planned to sew tomorrow but now that's a certainty!
That will be so handy and make nice gifts. 🎉
They'll make a great gift Delka. Did you get many made😀
Great idea. Thanks!
Thanks Janet😀
I am very glad you did this video. Tyvm!
You are so welcome!
Great idea! Thank you!
So clever and useful.

You're welcome Cynthia. Thank you😀
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure Becky. Thank you😀
Hi Christine do you have a tutorial on making a over the door vinyl roll storage keep my rolls of supplies of interfacing and vinyl all in one beat place😍I hoping you do.
Not yet, but I do have a shoe rack video that you could modify to suit 😀
Hi Christine, I have a question. I looked through your videos and didn't see one for a weekend duffle bag. Do you have one that I just missed? If not do you have any plans in the near future to make one?
I don't have a video yet Sheila. I've been thinking about it for a while though. I made one for my son many years ago that I thought I'd replicate. Just have to find where I've put it😀
Great idea!,
nice.
Thank you! Cheers!😁
