    Very well done. Easy enough for a beginner to follow safely. This is the way I taught basic circuits to trainees over my 40 year career in oil refining. Used white boards and even did mock ups. Slowly worked our way up to 480V, 2400V, and 13.2KV switchgear/substation operation. The goal is to make it simple and easy to understand, and you nailed it!

      Kilovolts!! That's crazy man stuff right there. That's like playing poker with the Grim Reaper!!......not much room for error. One had better pay close attention and no daydreaming or they're going to get their sinuses cleaned out!.......Jeez

    So cool, Thanks. - I am having an issue with my Kabota that looks much like this. I seem to have hooked an accessory hot wire to the battery Positive and the other wire to the Positive also and probably should have attached it ti the body for ground.. I melted/cooked both wires. I dis connected the two suspected relay wires and was able to start the Kubota ok. I immediately shut it off. Not sure step to take next.

      Yikes! That's all the makings of a bad day! I'm glad you got out of it without any real damage. I would suggest isolating both circuits and taking each relay, one at a time and cover all your bases. There's a good chance you'll have to replace each of those relays.     Very informative! Much appreciated. Couple questions: How do you find the correct wire from the ignition that gets hot (12v +) when turned on? And when you find it, do you just strip it back a bit and solder your wire that goes to the switch onto that one? (And then of course tape it up and protect it.)

      Hi Matt and thanks for watching and your comment! I don't know what your working on or what you're looking to do. You have to be very careful when cutting into the wire harness....you may void your warranty, or worse. My neighbor was replacing his car stereo and speakers on his Audi and he (accidentally) cut into a fiber optic wire - $960.00 to get his car fixed. I saw the fiber optic cable. it was brown and orange just like the speaker wire was supposed to be. I probably would have made the same mistake if I didn't know. That said, if you're sure about what your doing, I would start with a 12V electrical tester with a fine point on the end and try to find a wire that isn't "hot" when the ignition is off and is "hot" when the key is in the "on" position. I would also take the time to look over your fuse block for an "accessory" circuit with a 5-10amp fuse. Hope this helps. Good luck and if your not sure - try to find some help at the dealer or accessory store.

      Matt, I have the same two questions. I guess one answered and also suggested finding an accessory fuse to use. Was this in place of spicing into ignition? Also second question -how do you make the connection into hot wire? I guess 3 way wire it.

    Bota, nice. I want to power four accessories.
    Accessory #1...lights (front)
    Accessory #2...lights (rear)
    Accessory #3...horn
    Accessory #4...auxillary
    I have four relays. I have four (3-prong) switches. I have 14 gauge wire vice 12 gauge wire.
    Since the ignition switch is the low-amp source for each accessory, must I run 4 individual wires from that ignition switch to go to each accessory or what do you recommend. Do I need to create an ignition power box that will send out power to each accessory? Thanks.

      I'm not a mechanic so don't take any advice from me. You're totally on your own here. But if you are asking me what I would do, I would run one 14ga wire with a 10amp inline fuse from ignition to a waterproof fusebox loaded with 5amp fuses. Then, feed the low side of each of those relays with 14ga leads from the fusebox. On my tractor BX25D, I used the wire that feeds the "Cigarette Lighter Looking Accessory Port" under the seat as my ignition controlled wire. Kubota doesn't offer a lot in the way of accessory circuitry. Also, my owners manual basically says anyone except a Kubota Certified Tech cutting into the wire harness voids my warranty. FYI
