I got my hands on a pair of Vessi's, and I am rather impressed. Vessi is a company that claims to make 100% waterproof shoes. So I decided to put them through a rigorous test - walking more than 100KM in to countries.
The shoes that are shown in this video care called the 'Stormbursts'. Vessi makes many other colors and styles of shoes for men, women, and children.
I tested the Stormbursts for being waterproof, for comfort, grip, durability, odor, and, washability. All test passed! Be sure to watch the entire video!
I literally walked under cold water, up to the rim of the shoes, and there were zero water leaks. My socks stayed completely warm and dry! Crazy!
If you are serious about traveling, and tired of wet feet, I highly recommending getting your feet in to a par of these. You'll be happy that you did!

Keep searching folks… there is a review out there that says these shoes are NOT going to keep your feet dry. Actually, it explains why his feet were soaked
Awesome review. I was actually debating on whether to get the lighter colours due to the mud- You’ve convinced me!
- after about a year of having them, the color has one from a bright white, to a slightly off-white.
But keep in mind, I use and abuse these shoes constantly. I just spent more than 2 months walking around taiwan, and three months walking around india. Shoes have been in some pretty nasty places. Yet still, they are pretty close to white 🤘🏼
Have you tried the "peak black" version? Wondering if theyll typically look better
- I guess it depends on what type of outfits you have.. and what the overall color is. 90% of my clothes are white. So I need white shoes. Black just wouldn't work well for me.
But if you have a lot of darker colored clothing, then it would look just fine 🤘🏼
@Edgesofearth thanks for the quick reply! I do tend towards darker clothes. But i was also thinking in terms of getting dirty, I'd rather not have to clean my shoes every time i get back home, yknow?
@@peanutbutter7721 - I am legitimately surprised how white my shoes have stayed over the last year. They are not perfect white anymore. But they are still quite impressive. So I'm assuming black will be even better at hiding stains.

Are these very warm? I'm looking for winter shoes in Tennessee. Right now its 18F outside and a couple inches of snow/ice on the ground. I know Vessi says they added a layer to make them warmer, is that the case in colder temps?
- I haven't worn my shoes much out in the cold temperatures.. other than what you saw in the video.
However, they are rated for snow. As long as you are walking around and moving, your feet will definitely stay warm.
If you click the link and go to their homepage, you will see that they recently released another type of shoe which is specifically designed for even colder weather. ✌🏼

When I got these shoes, and looked at the packaging, it had snowflakes on them and talked about wearing them while you were downhill skiing. So I'm guessing it will be fine while walking around in snow 🤪🥶

- I had a size 11 in Nike and a size 9 in adidas. So, I ordered a size 10 in Vessi. It fits perfectly ✌🏼
Its been about 9 months since you made this video about the vessi shoes, you did say youll make a follow up video after at some point of time.
Could you respond to this comment how the shoes are doing now? And if your planning to make a follow up video of how its holding up etc.

- I don't plan to make an update. I thought I would. I'm just too busy.
I'm so far behind on my UA-cam channel. I'm so busy working that I don't have time to edit any content.
I still have about 10 more videos to make before I am caught up.
Anyway, to be short, shoes are good. I love them. They're not perfect white anymore. I've washed them a few times but they have started to turn off white.
There's a few minor scuffs on the shoe because I have used and abused them. Walking on mountains and hitting my feet on jagged rocks and such.
I still highly recommend these shoes.
Just a couple of days ago, I bought another pair. This time, walking shoes. I thought I would try something new.
I plan to travel soon and want something a little bit lighter weight.

It seems like I'll have to buy these at some point then, looks like a very good investment, I'm planning of getting those high top ones, although I'm just a student whose not earning yet I'll buy them when I can.
