Thanks for the honest review. Like everyone else, you also saved me some money. I am from Vancouver, and I was hoping to get a pair not only to be waterproof while hiking but to support local. I am disappointed as well

That's weird, I got the Chelsea version of these boots and was walking along the beach the whole evening with the water to about ankle height. The insides of the boots did not get wet at all (and no sand either) and I was pretty much soaking them in the water for a couple of hours. The Chelsea boots for me I can say is 100% waterproof, I was looking to purchase these ones too but it's apparently not waterproof?
I wonder if the many stitching and multi-layer panels that they attached on the stormburst may have compromised the waterproof-ness since the Chelsea has a more solid simple one-piece design.

Oh wow that’s really interesting to hear!
What I can say about the Stormburst is that the inside layer has a seam right down the middle. When the leaking started it essentially matched that seam line, and then ultimately just got super wet from there. Might be the problem spot for leaking 🤔

Thanks for the review. I was looking into these particular ones in the low cut design. I own a couple of pair of Vessi's already and was hoping these were a bit more comfortable, grippy and durable. I will be keeping my options open.

Why is the toe-box pointy? Feet aren't shaped like that.
