That’s a great little “carvelope/ envelard” 😊 Way fancier than the aerogrammes. If my English grandmother was still around I’d have to send her one of these to add to the stacks of aerogrammes I sent her as a child 😊

LOL! I use a grip mat on pretty much every card I make! Love this all in one idea - I made my sister's wedding invitations similar to this to avoid using envelopes.
I have noticed you are SO good mat using your grip mat! I do think it's a great tool, I just never remember to reach for it, and charge ahead with my old habits! I think the problem may be that I don't have space for it to sit on my desk (tiny space issues!) so therefor if it's not in my line of sight, I don't think to pull it out?

Natasha, you amaze me all the time. I have been making 3x3 & 4x4 inch envelopes then adding a folded card inside which I give randomly when out and about. One lady asked if it was a blessing card. I will give out what I have already made AND then, will be using this method in future. Too easy and never thought to make them this way, although I’ve seen this method many many years ago.

Very inventive card! I took your advice and got some of those foam blending brushes. I’m not sure what is different about them and the domes foam blenders, but I do have better luck blending with them. Thanks for the suggestion 💕

I love my Waffle Flower grip mat! I use it most for holding small die cuts when coloring them. When I saw you coloring die cuts on Mint tape in one of your recent videos I thought “she really needs a grip mat”. 😊
So very creative! I found a grip mat on amazon and it works the same and it was much cheaper!!
Cute idea! I would probably put that card in an envelope anyway. The United States Postal Service is very particular about cards. If there is any chance the label would fall off, I'm sure the machinery at the post office would rip it!
I have covered the entire flap with paper and have mailed them successfully. I also think if you square off the flap instead of a triangle and use glue sparingly on the flap it might work better.
I would try a sample and mail it to yourself and see if it works.

How fun, simple and pretty.
A postal employee could remove the gift card through the side. Aerogrammes had small side flaps for privacy...any ideas.
If made 90 degrees rotated it could stand on a mantle

I could see making use of this as a notelet to someone, if anyone writes to people anymore.
I use my Geli plate if I don't want to use my hand to hold it still
I like this card, it's different and easy. But I would never trust this card to go through the mail with a gift card in it. Trust issues I guess.🤨

Was the width 4.25 or 5.50? You said 4.25. Can you clarify?
