I love your card, but I have to say the die cuts looked really good on that dark gray of your silicone mat, especially given the color you chose for the flowers.
that would be a good one to try! I was thinking how it would have looked great on plain white too! lol

Hey Mindy, I know the problem of gunked up,scissors! (When I remember), I save the backing paper of any sticky stuff and then place my foam to be cut up on that - problem solved! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola

What is the width of the plates on the mini platinum machine. Does it grip to your surface like the Sizzix Sidekick?
width is 3.5" - there are little grippers on the bottom but if I'm 100% honest, it does slide just a smidge on my glass surface
I love the card. How long did it take? It looks like it took days...
oh gosh no - the first time i created it it maybe took an hour. Once you pick a color scheme, it goes really quick
