I actually love KZ’s story. She had nodules and throat issues years ago making it hard for her to sing and which completely changed her voice. She actually stopped singing for a while and almost gave up completely. Then, she developed her “new” voice and switched to a different style/genre before joining and winning Xfactor Philippines. Now her “new voice” and “style” is what she is known for. ❤️

Their comments are very professional and on point since the two of them don't just study music but love music as well. Their explanation and reactions are much better with this reaction which I think, this channel just do this for the views.
The story of KZ before she was a high notes singer but she got sick and needs an operation on her throat, The doctor advised her that she will no longer sing a high notes, her sick affected her voice quality,
After that she never quit her music life, she try to change her genre, she also play instrument like piano, her way to pratice her new genre in music, :) until she join XFactor Philippines 2012 and she won the competition, everyone surprise to her style of music.Only KZ was the singer artist here in the Philippines can do that style of unique genre.

Up to now there hasn't been a cover of an Adele song as unique and as superbly performed, sung, and rapped as this one. This is the best bar none!
That show was prolly the best singing competition. Battle of professional singers, and the judges which are the audience are all knowledgable in music who works as a vocal coach, musician and etc.

KZ always do the arrangement of the song she covers. One of my fave is her singer 2018 cover of Say Something. I was welling up with so much emotions. It was touching, by the end of the song, I have tears in my eyes. Say Something is a sad song but she sang it in a way that you feel the hurt.

You NEED to Watch every KZ Performance at the Singer competition!!! Each one! Specially when she sings 2 songs in Chinese and had 2 wreks to learn the language.
KZ is very soft-spoken in person. Self-effacing at times. When she steps on the stage, she morphs into this " fierce and fearless " person ! She knows what she has to do and just does it. She seems oblivious to the audience while she concentrates on the music and her song. She's not worried about what the judges and the audience are thinking. She does it her way. with a "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT " attitude !!! Truly and totally entertaining. Monroe mentioned that "I don't remember Adele's version" ! I feel the same ! Thank you, guys !
