Just over four years ago, Ben Christie was a senior at Baylor University studying professional selling and had a job lined up at Oracle in Austin. Now, he runs The Urban Rescue Ranch, a farm sanctuary and wildlife rescue in Waco, Texas with dozens of wild animals ranging from kangaroos to emus to capybara. Big Ounce, Gort and Uncle Ben from The Urban Rescue Ranch / waco wildlife rescue are in this based documentary trailer / short film.
Big Ounce shot, directed, edited, and wrote the script for this film. He also played the role as Uncle Ben. What a talented man Mr. Ounce is!

I wish he would use more of the 'regular' voice , the uncle ben character is a bit much to me, sometimes. A more laid back, regular video from time to time without the character would be nice. Still, I do watch each video.

Fun fact: big ounce died because ben left him out in the rain and he got pneumonia.. After putting him in with another male and getting his balls chewed off, which he played up as cancer.
Big Ounce is still remembered, still loved and still missed.
Ben is so articulate, you can tell he really cares about rehabilitation and takes his role as animal custodian very seriously even if you don’t regularly watch his channel. ♥️
Big ounce has done so much for us. He fought is both world wars, fought it the American revolution, Vietnam, he saved the world, and now he created this absolute masterpiece of a movie. Fly high little man 🕊️

Uncle Ben has come so far, even tho I've only been watching his content for 6 months, the hardwork he puts into taking care of all these amazing creatures is very apparent and obvious. Keep making the world a better place Uncle Ben
He is the greatest young American I have come across on UA-cam for a while now I wish there were more young people like him putting their energy on helping animals in need, and why I said a young man is because there are a lot of middle age and older people doing it but not too many young people

Man this is so inspiring. Big ounce was my lawyer when i commited tax fraud and he got me out and i won the case. He also saved me from being robbed by the minecraft enderdragon in real life.

Why did this make me feel so emotional, I feel so strangely proud of Ben, a man I haven't ever met, but watching him grow and his dreams come true warms my heart.

The fact that I've been watching him for 4 years now, and watching him become even better at rehabilitating wild life, is amazing.

It is genuinely shocking to hear him talk with such seriousness and calmness sense most the time his videos he’s making puns, jokes, or talking in a weird funny voice. I can’t wait to see the serious side of him!

I'd have easily believed this was Netflixworthy after watching the vidya on his new channel. You did a great job with the editing, making everything feel humble and subtle, but in a big-bucks Netflix money kinda way, lol.
