no. but you can just use pages to build it out. For example, once someone gives you their name and email you can then send them to another page where they can download the song.
@@AdrianBarrin Ok, thanks. I have a Hypeditt account, but when I go to create a Download Gate, I don't get the option to have an audio preview for some reason. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for this video. However, I don't think this is going to work in the long term. The subscribers collected by ads are usually very passive and won't contribute to generate new watching hours. The real problem in YT is NOT to add subscribers, but to make them truly listen to your music. This was already discussed everywhere on internet and - as far as I know - there is currently no solution apart from the organic approach.
idk bro, works for me. I dont think someone would intentionally download my music who wouldnt like more of my music later. I understand what you are saying but still, it can and does work. plus you only need 1000 true fans, so its ok if not everyone becomes a fan.
I agree that subs is not enough. I have over 15k and my views are not where I think there should be. I promote some of my video to increase views and watch hours, but the process is slow with the watch hours. But great information.

I have my own website. Do you recommend any plugins that can create a download gate?

Doesn't this just tank your retention?
Thoughts on the UA-cam promotions feature?
