This video is such a great deep dive. I have a couple of questions. First, how do I make sure the ad account on my Instagram is the same in my Meta Ad Manager? It looks like different numbers. Second, do you think targeting audiences with specifics is still effective? I've heard some say that going broad and letting Meta find the audience is better now.
If you have a small budget then targeting with "specifics" is better. But if you have a large budget then broad or a mixture of the two is better. You have to experiment. You need to link your Instagram with your Facebook. You can do this in ads manager
Great video , I'm researching all videos on youtube to make the ads properly but I have a question , it saids in the facebook info that you can make the video ad from one second to 241 minutes. Do your have to pay more if video is longer and pay less if video is shorter or it's one set payment. Also streams are great if get like a million or more but what about downloads , especilly the whole album say like 12 songs where the big money is made and I have distribution through distrokid. I would think instead of leading my spotify link , I would put in my download link say like Itunes or amazon. Let me know your thoughts.
Hey! Amazing content just one question, if it's possible to add a analytics pixel on hyppedit? 2nd one what do you think of add a bid in the campaign? Maybe u can work with a limited budget on a more intelligent way. Thanks for your video!
I'm now seeing the option to run ads on posts that are using audio from instagram's music library. Has anybody successfully done that? I'm just worried they might automatically end up muting that audio when the ad goes live
How to set up the pixel correctly? I can embed the pixel in my distrokid page in such a way FB ads improves the type of audience continuously in order to choose people who are willing to listen to my music on spotify (Which requires an extra step of clicking on spotify). However I am not able to set it up correctly in the campaign. Could you make a video? ThankSs!!!
@@rockboy360 True also everybody normally streams through a certain distribution site now days IE apple music, spotify and youtube music, i believe youtube music is the only one that allows you to play music from your phones library. I do remember apple music doing it though
@@rockboy360 Eh same with every single brand in their infancy. It’s your job to make them care! What’s so different than having it on a different platform. WTFU!
Strategically, if your funnel is optimized then it's no problem running ads to Spotify. The problem is most artists don't have a strategy for why they sent traffic there. Instead they send traffic to Spotify and hope they magically get on the algorithm.

Yes you can add a pixel. Yes you can add a bid. Most people don't know how to do this effectively however.

is it possible that in dynamic ads, we put in different existing posts
No, dynamic ads don't allow for existing posts
Can we potentially use the same methodology for sending that same music interest to our website player so we can capture leads
Yes!
I noticed you didnt use an original Audience did you use the Advantage Plus Audience?

The question is why do you wanna give your money to Spotify so bad? Advertise but to your own store. Screw Spotify
Because nobody buys music, specially from unknown artists.

@@Mike-vr7mb it's inconvenient, people wanna have everything in the same platform. They don't wanna go out of their way to listen to their music.
