The use of a scissor jack to hold the entire weight of the vehicle while at the same time using a nice heavy duty trolley jack to jack up the lower arm is a winning formula.
After I lowered my fxt on wrx shocks with prodrive.blue.slring, I had to take the front splash guards off.because they hit speed bumps. I didn't have that proble..on the rears though...
Ahh it’s it’s been awhile. But just be cautious of these. The set lasted for about 15k miles but then one of the rears shocks started leaking. The other 3 appeared fine. I would definitely recommend looking into Racelands :)
Youre looking at about 15-30min per corner. The biggest enemy are rusted bolts. Highly recommend using an Impact gun to speed up the process. Highly recommend having a buddy assist you as well, that can just spot and lend a hand! Id say 1 hour total if you have no rusted bolts with impact gun. 2 hours if you just like working slow, but carefully. It really varies on how comfortable you are, skills with tools, and having the right tools! Hope this helps, and good luck!
Ricardo Delaroca I've been on these for two months and they have been riding great!!! Just make sure you get the one that has dampening settings so you can adjust ride quality :) you're taking a chance but for $300 shipped, I'm pretty happy with them so far
Yo man im looking at getting these but im trying to lift my car. It looks like the stock oem struts are bigger. Are those coilovers fully extended?? Can those new coilovers match the oem height??
Yes! Ride is surprisingly smooth! But its also because i have the adjustable dampening model. If you get the Non Adjust. dampening, you will have pretty harsh ride comfort :( Definitely feels more solid than the OEM shocks/springs. When i got the car with 174k original miles, i just wanted something to replace, so these were perfect! However, I do plan on getting BC Coilovers in the future, these are just temporary, but i am very surprised how long they have lasted and have been holding up!
Hey i had a shop try to install these same coilovers on my 99 forester but they wouldnt put the fronts on cus they said they were rubbing on my cv boot did you have any issues with this happening
Been holding up great so far! No issues or leaks :) Plus i did move alot closer to work. About 3.5 miles away now as opposed to 35 miles one way. So definitely loving that!

Has impact. Doesn't use a 1" on his scissor jack 👍
Seriously, no jack stands? 😨

Nice! Mine def hit some speed bumps! I just left them on 😅
So even at max height you still lost about an inch? Trying to figure out what the max height of the coilovers is. Thanks!

Hi mate it looks good. how much lowered 30mm? 50mm? 70mm? Thanks
How long did the install take? I have a set of tein coilovers. It I haven’t installed because I don’t want to get halfway through and not finish

Yes! They have been very good so far!!! No issues fingers crossed
tks. I am from Brazil. I am gonna buy it!
Nice! Make sure you get the ones with adjustable dampening. Otherwise the ride will be harsh!

Squishy Poo ahh I Def don't recommend these! When we installed, we had the height fully extended, and it's still lower than oem height
Thanks for quick reply brudda! Yeah ill go stock. Trying to lift my impreza with forster struts. Thanks again mayne. You got a new sub fa sho!
My pleasure man! Good luck! Make sure to share pics or vid when youre done! Appreciate it!
Hey man how are they holding up a little over a year ?
Nvrmnd bro. Found it. Good looks on that video
Is the ride ok? How much more stiffer are the coils to the stock suspension?

@@FujiboHeavy Awesome! That was the fastest reply I've gotten on UA-cam
lol, im always on my comp when im not working. Plus i like helping out other fellow auto enthusiasts!
@@FujiboHeavy How low did you set the coilovers?
Nothing too crazy. Its about 1 finger gap up front and 2 finger gap in the rear :)
Hey i had a shop try to install these same coilovers on my 99 forester but they wouldnt put the fronts on cus they said they were rubbing on my cv boot did you have any issues with this happening
That's because you either had the wrong coilovers for hour.forester, or you were dropped too low...
Hey what's the name of the drill you are using??
You mean the impact gun? Its Kobalt :)
How much did it lower you
You can adjust the height to your liking! I adjusted so it had about 1 finger gap up front, and 2 finger gap in the rear :)
How the ride 6 months later?
Been holding up great so far! No issues or leaks :) Plus i did move alot closer to work. About 3.5 miles away now as opposed to 35 miles one way. So definitely loving that!
