Thank you for the video. We took a 2hr and 30min trip there. Loved both stores! Great deals! My best deals were $0.25 Martha White cornbread mix and a 30lb case of Cornish hens for $10.50. At Ebels I picked up tongue, oxtail, beef suet, hamburger patties. We will be back soon!
Falmouth Michigan.....I’m from McBain around 3 miles away and shop here all the time. I bring totes to put all my freezer supplies in. Please take your time in there. I have bought name brand sliced deli ham frozen for 2 for a dollar a lbs. Hot dogs and bologna for 49 cent. Love making ground bologna sandwiches. Love there cheese and chips to. Great views of my favorite store here in northern Michigan. As for Ebels.. there a Spartan store ...lots of frozen/fresh meat to buy in bulk there. As always there homemade venison jerky is awesome.
Hi . I enjoyed your shopping trip. The closest discount grocery store is about 45-60 minutes away from me. I only get there about once per year because it is out of the way. FYI on butter; Both Aldi and Safeway-affiliated stores put butter on sale for $2 or less a few times a year. I buy several and freeze it.
I just started buying celery. It was way to much in the winter season. In the fall I buy my cabbages dirt cheap when they are in season and freeze batches and batches of cabbage rolls. This is my favourite time of the year. All the veggies are cheap and fresh
This reminds me of a Menonite store from my childhood. It too was on a farm, and my mother went there to get all of her baking and candy making supplies. It smelled heavenly inside the store. But the barnyard by the parking lot? Not so much. 🤣 However, the barn cats, and the cows were always up for petting, which was an extra treat. It closed sometime before 2010, unfortunately.
Oh Renea you crack me up.....it looks like a foot with no toes. Lol I couldn't agree more. What wonderful goodies you got at such great prices. I was doing a happy dance right along with you. Such great deals! I had to laugh at the celery for 99 cents, I just bought 4 for the same price and have the dehydrator going full tilt. Canadian back bacon....well as a Canadian we call it peameal bacon and it's more like ham that is rolled in cornmeal. A staple in my freezer. Yum. Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip.
I love Pineview!! I bought the Kraft Mayo for 75 cents...check expiration dates too...and You need to go up and down both sides of each aisle and scan every item on every shelf...I found so many great deals...can’t wait to go back....
On gosh its amassing that we sausage's look so good and in bulk the honey jars are amazing .I love the bulk packaging. That's just in the pine store boy has the UK got a lot to learn I'm in heaven at the cookie collection .love the deli counter.boy so much to choose from..all be back in a minute
When I lived in the Lancaster, PA region, I used to go to overstock supermarkets regularly including one in Middletown, PA. These places are usually owned by Mennonites and Amish people. I got fantastic deals: individual Chobani yoghurts for $.25, Ben and Jerry pints for $.99 a pint, and so on. I bought most of my produce at farmers markets. They'd have $1 tables full of fresh produce of things they had too much of, or that they got cheap at auction. I'd buy Amish homemade bread for $2 a loaf. I bought my chicken and meats at the town butcher, fresh grass-fed PA Dutch beef and chicken backs to make homemade chicken stock. Now I'm in AZ, where food is much higher in price. I haven't seen any pastured, grass-fed cattle since I moved here three years ago. I've heard there are, but I haven't seen any. I miss PA farm life.
When I lived in Indiana a few years ago, we had two stores of that type, one Amish, and the other Mennonite. I especially liked the Amish store, and sure do miss it!
I’d love to go grocery shopping for bulk items at an Amish grocery store. It would be a great adventure for me! I’ve never seen one. But I’m thinking my husband and I will take a trip to Amish country soon! They’re way of life intrigues me. I can’t wait for our trip, although we’ll have to wait till spring, when the weather is more agreeable.
I’m in Northwest Washington State, that’s a good price for celery. Why is celery so expensive right now? This kept me entertained for almost an hour. Oh thank you🦋💜
Ha ha you sound like me shopping! I always shop for a deal also, I loved it when you saw the turkey legs I was thinking mm that looks good , then u turned it over!! Bra have ha I love it!

We have 2 types of bacon in Canada. The pork loin marinated in salt brine is called; Canadian Back Bacon. The other, marinated and smoked with maple wood chips (some marinate it with maple syrup from Quebec as well) is our Regular Bacon.
Before my network went down. I just am so happy you are back renea .just so good to get out with a friend for a while shopping. You come home looking at the things better and you feel good .be it exhausted. Love to you all. Tina🌹👩
When I travel home from my hidden store six hours out I take my massive igloo chest with dry ice. Everything is frozen when I get home . I use a meat slicer to divide so I can vacuum sealer it up without thawing to get it done.
You got some great deals in that Amish store. We don't have any of those down here.I just bought 5 stalks of celery. Found them at our produce market for 1.09 each. Chopped them up and froze them for this winter.
Hello, what a great trip. We do not have anything like that here in central Ohio, well nothing that I have found. We did in Virginia, South Carolina and Missouri but here in Ohio especially Columbus, they act like everyone is made of money. Most of the time Meijers has a better deal than the outlet stores wherever they are lol. Thank you for sharing, God bless, stay safe and have a wonderful day .
@@LittleVillageHomestead Hello, oh that is so cool. That is outside of Toledo, Ohio about 3 hours north of us. I will pray for safe travels for him and for you. ❤❤❤

I believe the price of celery has spiked due to the faze or craze of drinking celery juice. Apparently it does the body real good in numerous ways.
