- I finally bit the bullet and ordered myself the new Dyson Air Wrap Complete Long set directly from the Dyson website. This is my first foray into Dyson beauty products, I have loved their little hand held vacuums and actually own 3 of them in total haha! My natural hair is quite silky when left to air dry in a ponytail right up until I try to style it in which case it becomes fine and fly away and I get all my baby hairs sticking up like they have static electric pulling my hair upright.
I have tried many topical products to try to tackle my fluffy baby hairs and when I saw that the new Airwrap has the flyaway attachment I just knew it was something that I would need to get round to trying out. I've also seen many of the UA-camrs achieving super gorgeous curls using the Coanda curling attachment and am just dying to try this out on my hair and see if it works with hair extensions or whether I'm better off just using it on my short hair.

This is probably one of the best videos on the Airwrap, where it shows the capability to add volume whilst smoothing the flyaways. Almost all videos on this device are from people with already voluminous and smooth hair, and I couldn’t figure out if this would help me. Thanks! 🙏

I just bought this one too and feel the same about buying the first version of high tech anything ! They really made significant improvements! I have had mine for almost two months and I am in love, definitely a learning curve and have had some hits and misses but it’s so much better than my old tools.. the health of my hair too has improved so much! It’s an investment, but a smart one !
Hey! Just wanted to know if the Nickel color on the old and new airwrap are the same? or is the Nickel on the new one brighter?
Ooh fab, I learned how to create a nice waved style on my natural hair yesterday. Lasted till today too so so far I’m happily impressed

Hey, yes, so your hair is static because it's too dry when you begin using the tool. You need to deep condition your hair in the winter months as the central heating plays havoc with the moisture in our strands.
Use a good hair treatment post washing it, I like the Revlon one or anything by John Frieda is usually a good shout, like the leave in conditioner or the miracle oil. Hope this helps.

Have you tried k18 leave in ? It has helped me soo much. My hair has been bleach blonde for around 10 years and it’s the longest it has ever been with bleached hair now.

I’ve just been sent as a PR product the ‘Hair Burst’ baby hair tamer. It’s really good. My guess is it’s a very thin ‘non wet look’ hair gel in a mascara type tube. It’s worked much better on my damaged fly aways 😁
I have ordered one a few days ago but I have tried the dyson flyaways attachment in a dyson shop and the lady has actually used it the way you did at the end of the video. I have super flat hair and I have many bold spots but I wouldn’t say I lost much volume it had a very uplifted effect and she’s only used the flyaway and the curler.
Awesome. I think my flyaways are a lost cause lol I’ve taken to allowing my hair to dry naturally for the time being and will attempt to curl the ends with the wands the next time I want to style my hair to see how that goes as I find my flyaways lay flat when I let them dry naturally

Hi. I haven’t yet uploaded a video of using the curling barrels on my short hair as I’ve not really found a way or styling it that I like yet.
I have used all of the attachments but mostly use the dryer and round brush for sorting my locks.
I did create a video comparing the curling barrel to ghd curls, it’s the one with my hair up in a ponytail

It would likely work really well from what I can tell, fine hair is easy to straighten using air so I imagine you would get great results, I have extensions in atm though so not in the market for this currently

Yes it really is super fast as a hair dryer and much more lightweight. Still yet to try the curl section but will give that a go soon

Literally a couple minutes. It’s the fastest hair dryer I’ve ever had. I do have fine hair so mine dries quicker than most peoples anyway but even I noticed how quick it is.
I am so indecisive with the colours…
I bought the same colour as yours but I am not a big fan of pink, was going to return but I dont like the copper-silver colour either and the navy is out of stock.

Hey, I'm the same as you. I wanted the Bronze and Navy as I'm not a fan of silver at all but the others have all been out of stock for forever so I just decided to get it in this colour in the end.

Im curious if bc your hair was already pre-dried so many times in one sitting that its less maluable and able to work correctly. Have you had any more success or different experience since filming this?
Hey, yes It works fine with going over it a few times. The drier the hair is when you finish styling it, the longer the hair stays styled for ☺️
I bought the nordstrom exclusive pink edition and it was suppose to come with the comb and another brush but it didnt 😞😡

Where did you get your extensions?!
These ones were by Foxy Locks but to be honest I don’t rate the clips on them anymore. They’ve changed since my last purchase and they slip a lot more than my old ones to the point where it could be embarrassing. The other brand I like is Milk + Blush. They’re equally as good and perhaps their clips are still as good as they were before.
Do you still like it? Is it worth it?
Yes, I love it, I use it mostly to dry my hair as it's so comfy and lightweight, I use the curler attachment and the round brush second mostly, the airwrap part is alaos brilliant for styling synthetic hair wigs too!

If you're getting static hair it means your hair is dry. Do you think your hair is dry? I use a leave in conditioner as I find my hair is sometimes static throughout the colder months. I also usually use conditioning treatments instead of simple conditioner.
