The indicator lamp described at 3:37 is for the Power Divider Lock or PDL, as opposed to the PTO, which I believe was mentioned by mistake.

Thank you,, I came here to find out what the diff lock light was. One of our 2022s has the diff lock light on all the time even though the diff lock switch it off and the axle isnt locked its not hopping in tight turns at all. Truck as 1200 miles on it,if it persists i guess ill check the activation switch on the rear axle, this is a town plow truck,you can hear the air valve working when you turn it on and off its charging and dumping air like its supposed too.
It sounds as if the body control module needs an update. With multiplexing electrical lines, the Diamond logic tool works wonders for helping companies and operators. So this could be an install glitch. Or it could be a sensor.
Turn signals have an audio sound associated with them in my 2020 International LT tractor, but the hazards do NOT. Is that intentional or a defect?
Great question! Thank you for reaching out. Audio Sounds are part of the programming of the tractor. The sound integration for turn signals is one of those features. Why do it for turn signals? It reduces unintended signals to others sharing the road with you - especially in non self cancelling applications. Why not on hazard? The focus of the operator is already on the reason the hazard are applied and the added noise can be a detriment to the situation.

I have a new LT with the differential light blinking and cannot disengage the diff lock/axle lock. tried everything and the light keeps blinking.
please resend this to molden@lee-smith.com along with your VIN number and location. I will check with service systems. If this is a 2022 then I should be able to pull a health report to see what is coding.
I currently have the curly cue light and it’s not going off. How long is the wait for the components to warm up?
The curly Q light is the engine block heater.
If the light does not go out - there is a need to check the lines to the glow plugs.
It should illuminate for 30 seconds. Go out while cycling the key. Depending on temperature - the light may return as cold air is drawn into the engine.
The warming of the engine block will allow the light to go off.

I was in Orlando Fl believe or not. Most mechanics I called were confused of that because it was nice out like 75 degrees. I needed up spraying a little starter fluid in and it crunk right up.

What about the triangle with wrench and my lane departure being disabled
The triangle with wrench if to service the truck as soon as possible light. the inactive lane departure might be associated with this same lighting warning.

What about the warning light that looks like a shifter with a geared circle.

The 1 next to the high beam indicator. I see that whenever the tractor doesnt want to shift in drive or reverse. It's an intermittent fault.

@@timyim713 The light to the right of the bright lamps indicator - which is on the left hand side of the steering column - is the RANGE INHIBITOR lamp - range inhibits the transmission gearing selection.
It displays when the transmission electronics failsafe to prevent its self damage. As an insight - the transmission light will come on if the mechanics of the system are slower than the driver of the truck. There is a need for a pause when moving from neutral to reverse, neutral to drive. Real world movements that drivers go through when driving.
From an engineers perspective - - the driver is being to aggressive - - not allowing the transmission to do what we (the engineers) have designed that the operator (driver) will do when behind the wheel.
Potential actions that create the intermittent lamp illumination:
Changing gear selection (d to n, n to r, r to n) while creeping along - or not fully stopped. There is a 1 - 2 second puase needed when moving from these positions.
Aggressively applying the fuel pedal
NOW - if the lamps tracks or follows the upward movement (from 1 -12) as the transmission increases speed - there is reason to have the truck checked out.

Transmission mode put the transmission into a predefine shifting pattern. The default is economy - which changes gears as soon as is possible. The second mode hold the gear longer. There are alternative programs that can be uploaded at the dealership.

@@michaell4564 THough it is best to process through mode settings when parked, it is available. There are some radios which will not pair to a phone while the truck is moving.
Do internationals never need to regen? I have a 2021 my now, I had a 2015 prior, never have either asked me to regen.
Excellent question! Regeneration happens as the truck is driven. The engine sound will spike up and a message will appear on the dash. This is a passive regeneration - as it occurs as you drive. The manual regeneration is a driver interaction. Mostly, performed in the when away from your clients property, parked, and with the brake on. When depressed, the system 'self checks' to confirm the need for the regeneration. If not needed, it won't active the regen. If needed, the system can take 6 - 20 minutes to run its full course.
The process is taking soot - and creating ash - through the burn process. This is why the system will need to be removed periodically to 'deep burn' the filter and vacuum the honey comb.
Most filters can be reinstalled. BUT it the soot turns to tar - the price can be over $3500 for a new filter.
Suggestion - at the end of the day - while the engine is still warm - put it in park, put on the break - press and hold the manual regen. If needed - it will run. If not - turn the key off and enjoy the evening!
@@MichaelOlden I just thought it was weird, I never had a truck that didn’t ever regen, I drove the 2015 international for two years, never asked me to, or said it was in regeneration, I’ve been in my 2021 international MV for about a year, 17,000 miles, has never asked, or said it was in regen.
@@michaelsimms6771 This is very unusual not to have the unit process any DEF Fluid.
Are you sharing that you have never filled the DEF tank?
@@MichaelOlden no, I fill the def, just never goes into regan, 2021 international MV, nor did my 2015 international, not one time did I see that light go off in the last 4 years on either one.
