Another amazing video by my favorite plant lady on UA-cam ❤️ At first I didn’t understand the fascination with Hoyas. But now I collect them as well. Recently purchased a 2nd Crimson Queen cause it has 3 completely white leafs! So pretty and easy to care for. The grow light frame is such a good idea! I’m going to do this in my home ❤️

@@SharinaTallada Sounds amazing, I have two sisters that live in Glendale and I also wanted to go to japan town and china town, and maybe Daiso and the dollar store. I was in California in 2018 for my birth father's funeral but wasn't into plants like I am now because we drove there and I could have hauled so many plants back to Idaho with me, now I won't be driving because it would be by myself and it's too far and I am not comfortable doing that, so flying it will be.

I feel you with the light and hoyas. I got rapid leaf loss on my Hoya australis 'Lisa' and dropping peduncles on my Hoya nummularioides. Grow lights fixed all that. Nummu shouldn't like being under grow lights according to many web sites but whaddya know... It loves it in my house. 😎

Have you spoken with anyone about the care and light requirements for the Hoya Linearis? I did extensive research, and a lot of the info is so conflicting to me ... mind telling me what sort of conditions you have yours in? it looks so good! cause some say it's very tolerative of low light, bright shade, versus the typical hoya that likes super bright light. But idk what your opinion would be on it.

Do you have any tips on dealing with mealy bugs? I just noticed one of my favorite plants I own has them everywhere and I’ve been spraying with neem oil & trying to get them all off but just wanna know if there’s anything else I can do.
Miranda Lynn I have stuff that I put in the soil!! “Systemic Insect control” I believe is the name! Also-yes I use the neem oil as well and just pick them off with a q-tip! Lol it takes a couple of days but fairly simple!

I believe your Hoya Philippines is also called Hoya Dasyantha. I have a Dasyantha and absolutely love it. It is a super fast grower.

Do you have any tips on dealing with mealy bugs? I just noticed one of my favorite plants I own has them everywhere and I’ve been spraying with neem oil & trying to get them all off but just wanna know if there’s anything else I can do.
Miranda Lynn I have stuff that I put in the soil!! “Systemic Insect control” I believe is the name! Also-yes I use the neem oil as well and just pick them off with a q-tip! Lol it takes a couple of days but fairly simple!
