- The winter is at it`s end and the spring is right around the corner. We are taking the last trip southbound to Dombås before the snow is gone.
Today we are taking our electric locomotive called EL18 that is build by ADtranz and the first locomotive was delivered in 1996.
Maximum speed 200 km/h (120 mph)
Power output 5,400 kW (7,240 hp)
Tractive effort 275 kN (62,000 lbf)

Thoroughly enjoyed this great video and the beautiful Norwegian scenery. Are there any trips to Telemark? I know Telemark was badly damaged by the Nazis in WWII and I guess by the allies who bombed it to stop Germany's attempt at creating an Atomic bomb. I have "Heroes Of telemark" movie. I am subscribed.
For me it is incomprehensible, that in certain sections the maximum speed is limited to 130 km/h. After a complete replacement of the catenary line you should be able to raise this one up to 160 km/h.

There is times when the nature is showing of, and the scenery over the Dovre plateau can be breathtaking some times. I can understand why Edvard Grieg was inspiered when he composed "In the Hall of the Mountain King", Dovre is also a inspiration in many of Norwegian fairytales.

Beside sun is video perfect: filmed on sunny day, window is clean, with quality camera, interesting line and beautiful nature.

There are rumors that the train operators up there have stopped cab videos. I know no more than you.

Er vell mye på grunn av radiusen på kurvene før innkjør på Lundamo? Og tilstanden på sporet
