Being sick really sucks on the camino. I'm glad to hear that you were feeling better quickly and it did not derail your schedule. One day on my walk few months ago, I had food poisoning and couldn't go to sleep at all that night. Surprisingly, I was able to walk 20km next morning without any problem.
Wow! That's quite impressive. One of my friends got food poisoning in Santiago and he was stuck in bed for about 48 hours running to and from the bathroom. Don't think he'd have been able to do 20km! Not sure what happened to me on the night in this video, I think I just had a weird dizzy spell for some reason 🥲
@@kotcherd Thank you, that's very kind! I have filmed quite a lot of videos (and will post one in Wales next I think) but been so busy doing more hiking trips and adventures that I haven't had time to edit it 😅😅 I will post as soon as possible 🤞
Hi! Definitely would not recommend using an organised company for the Camino, it's a complete waste of money! In my case walking in March we could just walk in the front door of hostels and ask for a bed. If you go in the summer it would be busier so you might need to book in advance online, but you can do it 1-2 days at a time as you go 😊 no need to book the whole thing at the beginning!!
@@summitwithsophie I agree, I reached out to one of the many tour guide and they were giving me a quote of $8,000 for the France route!! I will continue to research and hopefully plan a trip soon. Thank you for your advice.
@@KylieDrummond Thanks for watching! I walked for 12 days, then stopped for 2 rest days, and then walked the final 19 days without any more rest days :)
It brings back so many memories for me too! Thanks for watching 😊
I smiled through most of this ❤️ except the bits where I wanted to hug you. I love watching your adventure unfold x
It's so nice to watch it back 😊😊

Looks like you had an amazing adventure even only in the first week! I feel a bit jealous 😃 Can't wait to see what comes next :)
Next time you can come with me :}
Thank you for sharing your video! It is quite cheerful and motivating. I am looking forward to going there.
Thank you, I hope you have the best time!!
Loved your Vlog. Brought back good memories completed the Frances on 15th June. I agree Estelle was a great town.

Enjoying your video. Interesting perspective, I live in Phoenix AZ and 30 degrees Celsius sounds wonderful.
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure living in Phoenix would be for me 🤣🤣 I'm so bad in hot weather!!
please continue to post more videos. You are very good at documenting your experiences. how about a tour of your hometown in Wales.

Buen Camino 👋🏽
Gracias!!
Yeah ! She's super cool 🤭✌️
Did you have to arrange where you would stay “hostel’s” with a company or did you kind of winged it?

@@summitwithsophie Thank you.
How many days do you plan to walk before you have. a rest day, Just like the movie you are meeting lots of people.
