I walked the Camino Frances in May / June of 2024. This video details the following: What I am glad I brought What I WISH I would have brought Things I got rid of along the way Things I had to buy
@@Anamolouslou Wow three times!? That is impressive! As long as you’re comfortable with the weight it doesn’t really matter. Other people will tell you you’re crazy, though! ☺️
@@sophiafortain5135 a fellow pilgrim got bed bugs the night before we arrived in Santiago. Biggest tip is to keep your backpack closed and away from the mattress so if there are bedbugs they don’t get inside your backpack and come with you to the next place. They are big enough to see, so you can check your mattress around the seams to look for them. Buen camino!

Super helpful video, especially combined with first one. Much, much appreciated as I am getting ready for my first Camino. Cheers!

@@annetcell-ly4571 yes she is!
Fantastic video! It sounds like you had some lucky friends around, giving them hankies and all sorts of stuff they needed!
@@hollyhanau3628 Ah yes, always bring an extra hankey just in case your Camino bestie gets the sniffles

Great information. Thanks so much. Start my Camino on Thursday. Your dog is really cool 😊
@@maggiereising9253 Buen Camino, Maggie!
Great job. Recommend Buen Camino app highly instead of a guide book and little pink Himalayan salt packets for electrolytes.
@@henrynovell8752 thank you! I did enjoy the buen camino app.
The electrolytes packets your friend had sound like LMNT packets!
@@manueldelgado5336 yes those are the ones!
@@TravelLightAdventureduothanks! Nice video, really does help!

I walked PCT trail 3 times... each time my backpack weighed like 50 lbs. 😅 ... Thinking about the Camino... I yhink my backpack would weigh the same..

Did you have any issues with bed bugs? If so, any tips?
