So interesting it looks almost just like the Renogy meter! Wonder which one came out first. I noticed that the shunt on the Renogy looks a lot heavier / impressive but maybe the perform the same?
Bought one of these and installed it today, been correcting a lot of issues on my battery bank from the factory and previous owner. Kill switch was first, 4 gauge wire secand now this monitor
I want to put an extra car battery that we have, a huge one, but 12v., in a ammo box with this battery monitor and hook up an inverter I bought- it is a 2000 w inverter- would this work all together? Thanks so much.
Hi friend I’m starting a laundry business in Africa but the electricity in Africa is very very expensive. But I’m thinking of solar generator to power my 2 washing machines from LG energy a+++ washing machine. Any Idea what solar generator is very good for the washing machines?
I have the renogy version of this monitor and to be honest I am not that impressed, it seems to be accurate when the battery is discharging but when its charging it goes from 0% to 100% immediately and as soon as it detects a voltage close to fully charged voltage like 12.8 volts which is what happens when charging a 12 volt battery. So the monitor displays 100% only after few seconds of charging.
That's strange. I have not incountered that with this one. Very accurate actually. I'm fairly certain something is wired loose or the unit itself was defective or needs to be reset. I would contact Renogy.
UA-cam is notoriously glitchy. Did you click the notification Bell when you subscribed? That's all I can really think of. I still don't get 90% of my comments for some reason.
Hey Jim, good to see you! Parked the RV for the summer due to personal reasons this summer. Hope to get back on the road by next spring. Stay safe!

Looks exactly like the Renogy battery monitor with another name, and $30 cheaper.
It is not simple to set. We hoped that you waked us through the setup
have the same one works great
I like the long wire, got one with only about 6'
me too ...had to splice in some 5 condoctor wire..for $70.00 could have been a littlt longer..
New subbie. Looks similar to Renogy. Great video 👍
Can this monitor's alarm be set to percent of capacity left in the battery, rather than the voltage?

Sure. I don't see why not. Car batteries are not designed for deep Cycles but other than that it should work fine.
@@fullmoonadventureclub thank you so much!

@@fullmoonadventureclub I have read on other reviews of this problem with the renogy version.
@@Binzy-jq2xq Odd behavior, as state of charge is not voltage based. It's current-time based.
Not getting your new uploads, YT hates us.
