I graduated in 1990 from highschool. I moved to Buffalo Wyoming and worked at Paradise Guest Ranch. I lived there for two years and fell in love with it. I backpacked and led horse rides up into the Cloud Peak Wilderness. I remember all these areas in your videos.
Most people cannot believe how spectacular this country really is. Everything from snowcapped mountains to the beautiful deserts. Thanks again for giving us a taste of it. The drone views are awesome. Wonderful motorcycle roads. 🏍👍👍🙋♂️
Hey Russ!!! "GREAT DAY" For a "DRIVE"!!! "BEAUTIFUL "!!! Be Safe!!!
Montana Wyoming Idaho Utah beautiful country some of my favorites every Season is just unique in its own way 💫
I love these videos, traveling through beautiful country in the west, and stopping at the scenic and historical sights, reading the storyboards, etc.
As good as your Wyoming scenic byway videos look, the real thing is so much better.
As Russ says, "Check it out, YAY"!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!
The Bighorns is where I go to get away. Hwy 16 is a beautiful drive. We sometimes stay at one of the many campgrounds on the Eastern slope. Crazy woman creek campground is where we stayed last year. Tensleep is a nice little town. That will be your next fuel stop.
My beautiful state. Gods country 🥰💜🥰
Absolutely beautiful. Your videos really pick me up. Thanks so much Russ.
Wyoming is such a beautiful state. It's like there is beauty in each and all of them thank you Russ!
I usually watch this with my brother on the telly but I also watch on my phone so I can leave a like for ya!! 100%
Brrr! Snow fences. Beautiful country.
that was an amazing vidio. Powder river Pass. Your camera's capture the views so clear and clean. Couldn't have asked for a better ride.
someday i'll drive it. thanks for the views.... Wyoming , you got to love it.
16 is pretty when wildflowers are blooming
Another great video Russ! Thanks!
Thank you Russ! Stunningly beautiful country and great photography and commentary!
I love this leg of the journey back home its breath taking
another great ride down memory lane.looks as great as ever.i never get tired of traveling this highway.
Just beautiful!
Drove there in 2018. Beautiful! Thank you for taking us on our summer 2021 trip and drive safely back to Q! We will be hanging out in Lake Havasu, Seligman and Q over Christmas holidays. Addy and I will ask you for a selfie if we run into you with our Too Cool For School shirts LOL.
This is one of my favorite areas in the West you missed going through Crazy Woman Canyon it has some of the most spectacular views you will ever see! Thanks for sharing your story.
Had some friends visiting us recently from Wisconsin and we took them through Crazy Woman Canyon. We enjoy the trip best from bottom to top. How about you? Our friends loved it.
That is a "crazy" trip... beautiful... have done several times.. might be a bit too "off road" for rver ??
I wouldn't recommend taking a RV down the canyon. A van is ok. I live in Buffalo. Towards the top of the canyon it's pretty rocky.
I am a third generation Wyomingite, "Wonderful Wyoming"
My ears were popping down here in Key Largo, Florida
Beautiful ride Russ! Thank you for the film and drone footage!❤️😀🚙
I'm from Buffalo. This must have been from a couple years ago because the highway has been redone. The mountains are Forrest service lands. The lake is Tie Hack reservoir. That's where Buffalo gets our water. I just did this drive on my channel today. Our highway only closes if the weather is super bad. You must of traveled in early fall. Nice job! I don't expect someone not from the area to know about our mountains. Powder River pass is on the limit of being above timberline. This year we've had almost to much rain. Most of the side roads are closed. Safe travels RVer!
I enjoyed seeing this heading West from Buffalo, as I’d taken the same road from Cody to Bear Lodge-Devils Tower Nat’l Mon. August 22’ . Appreciate you showing me the view from Loaf Mountain viewpoint, as I didn’t get to see that off Hwy 16. Cheers and safe travels
It seems that every mile has a picture perfect postcard view.
Thanks for the video.
Back in Ohio we've had to put a jacket on today, too! 😊
I enjoy watching this in 1080p60 or in 4k UHD TV
So pretty
Take a few weeks and travel to South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Utah and you will be so bummed when you have to go back home. I live in Florida and have driven out there four times and I cannot wait for the next opportunity to go there. Get yourself a National Park Pass and have the time of your life!!!!
Ross Bassett. U r so very true ABOUT MONTANA, WYOMING S,D N UT r very beautiful n lots of breathtaking views all thru all 4 of em states . I grow up in Wyoming back in the late 60s n all thru the 70s ,left in 79 n went back in 2000 n boy what a very big difference it was all grown up . I moved back to Montana in 2007 . Lived in UT for a few years also. So much to do n see In all 4 states that u would almost need a few months to see em states to really get n walk round to see all the sites n views.
You're going to really enjoy Thermopolis and Wind River Canyon....its So beautiful....I love the Colors...
Wyoming is a gorgeous place. Every road you take is a sight to behold.

Your next fuel stop is Tensleep. Nice little town. I use to go out there for the 4th of July every year for 6 years straight. Havent been in a few years but its in my plans.
I just drove through there in June, it was beautiful! Great video as always!

Beautiful Russ!! Great video!
Good morning Russ
Love the drone videos
Love the tour keep safe and keep going I love coming along
🙋♀️Hello Russ! A beautiful blue sky made for a beautiful day with several picture postcard perfect moments. What beautiful scenery you find for us.👍 Chilly 50° in Independence, Va.
That stone block wall behind the storyboards was beautiful. I wonder if it was quarried locally.
Indeed!
At times I think it's stone, but than at times I think it's man made brick.
What is it?
It is gorgeous.
Just thinking, that may actually be split-face coloured concrete block (colour is added to the concrete before the blocks are made, not surface painted).
Just amazing!
Very cool drive. I went through there last September but you should have stopped at the hot springs park it was very sweet little park .
Longmire .... this is the base for the series and Buffalo has Longmire days every year ..
Driving through areas like that kinda recharges your battery !
It's starting to cool down in Az. I'm heading to Parker on the second of the month. Come visit me Russ. Enjoy
love it ......thankyou so much for sharing..
Yes beautiful ride through there and then fences for that snow you want them there when it's drifted I've been there and the gates they close them down when they want to plow snow to keep people on the way so they can plow the roads they also have Evan Canada to great video travel safe Russ
It is a beautiful drive between Ten Sleep and Buffalo. While in Ten Sleep, be sure to check out the Sleepy Coyote Cafe and Bar. The food was wonderful!
Beautiful country, sure makes me homesick tho!! Thanks for sharing Russ!
Beautiful! Our two trips out west were good but so many tour buses swamping everywhere you stopped! I suppose we went the wrong time of year!
Such a beautiful area and video 👍🏻
It really is!
Way back in the day, Cloud Peak was known locally as ‘Bomber Peak’ after the fact that a B-17 crashed into the mountain during WWll on a transport flight from the Northwest to the East coast.
👍👍😊
From Virginia Beach thank you for the sites it’s beautiful
Yeah, ya don't hear much about Wyoming, you're right. Alot of Christmas trees to choose from there! Haha
Not here, man!
Driven to it and around it several times - all the way from Toronto, Ontario.
Love it!
You got that right!
Have you made a video of the WEST side of Hwy 16 going into Tensleep... that part is awesome... Love your videos.
stay tuned
That pass is Powder River Pass. I used to Elk hunt in the Powder River Pass area. The lowest elevation in the state of WY is in the NE corner where the Belle Fourche River crosses into MT. Around 3200 feet as I recall.
"I used to Elk hunt in the Powder River Pass area."
@@internetcensure5849 Your point?
I enjoy all of your videos. This one I enjoyed the most. I’ve been thru this area several times on a motorcycle and I thought it was beautiful. Your drone shots of that area were absolutely breathtaking. Couldn’t believe it. Thanks, keep up the good work
Val
Loveya Russ!!!!! ROLL ON>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...
I like your laughing
Just georgous. I've also been enjoying some of the missed videos from last spring on your off nights. West Virginia was a fun time. You really do a great job filming and editing. 💕
Love the beautiful scenery 👍
Hi Russ the drone footage is just awesome, I mean awesome. Thanks for The beautiful ride on Highway 16!!!
Thanks 👍
Beautiful landscape.
Great videos Russ. Almost to cool for school. Better start heading south or buy some snow tires and chains
beautiful and no people
Great run up in the mountains, beautiful area. 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Hi Russ,
If you keep heading west down the hill you’ll hit a town called Ten Sleep. Interesting history on how the town was named. Beautiful little town.
Thanks for the memories and thanks for the excellent upload.👍👍👍
What a beautiful drive Russ! Was that a cow moose on the road?
Wow absolutely beautiful views. I was just thinking you should see some wildlife and unfortunately you did but a dead one. So sad but it does make you stop and think.
I was hoping to hear about the big brown rocks at Buffalo. I found those quite interesting. Before I saw the name of the town, I thought the rocks looked like buffalo resting there. Then I wondered if they named the town because of them.
You comment on the gates blocking off these mountain roads when snow hits! US 16 and US 14 are both kept open all winter unless a major storm hits that the snow plows can't keep up with! Once the storm passes these roads are re-opened ASAP!
👍👍
WY back on the map eek...
Beautiful drive.... Think I’ll go that way on my trip next summer to Washington. Do you have a video of your drive on hwy 14 or alt 14?
That was a dead moose on the highway you passed. There is a high concentration of them in the area.
God Bless - United States America - Russ - RVerTV Fans. Thank you Russ for your 2021 Journey. Happy Trails - U.S.A. - Russ - RVerTV Fans / We Love RVerTV .
Great video! What month was this?
Russ . Did u stop in Laurel Mt yesterday at Walmart? If so I saw ur van then right b4 I park n went in to do some shopping.
What time of yr where you filming this? I’ve watched your other video on the Scenic Byway 14 to your north, which do you feel has steeper grades?
"Back in the day" you'd be dodging arrows from the Sioux or the Cheyenne!!!!
This is their land...
Actually no it was Crow land!
@@johnkertzman3223
Thanks.
Russ, I am crossing the Bighorns next summer and can't decide 16 vs 14. Which did you find better for scenery?
HEY RVTVER , HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO RIVERTON , WYOMING , MT BROTHER LIVES THERE AND I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT MOVING THERE , OH AND THANK YOU FOR THESE AWESOME VIDEOS.
Move to Lander.
Nope , I rather live in Riverton or Shoshoni Wy.
@@reynaldogarza3775 I lived in Riverton for five years.
What kind of Drone you use russ
What are the, > , lineing back of your home/van, ? lovya channel Peace
Was that a moose? Looked like it. Lots of damage on a car with that.
the prairies have no mountains, of course!
no deer 🦌 warnings signs?
