Got so distracted by the mention of the ice cream ..watched it a second time. What a great amount of time and effort put into that museum. Can see it the pride in the smallest of details.

Thanx Russ, you're the ladder day Charles Curalt.🗽👍💕
If you got to Marmarth, you must have traveled through my town (Bowman). Marmarth has a fascinating history. At one time it had a roundhouse and was a major point for loading cattle onto the trains. I know people who used to take part in cattle drives to Marmarth: true western stuff.
This museum is a real treasure. And you might appreciate the museum in Bowman and the one in Ekalaka, MT.
And, of course, Marmarth is in an absolutely gorgeous setting!
Thanks for the history..just getting ready to google...
Funny how word of mouth brings us to so many almost forgotten treasures. Thanks again Russ for showing us historical sites. 👍👍🙋♂️
Wow, you found a treasure trove of Americana. One of the nicest collections I've ever seen.
I think so too!
100 million dollar museum right there Russ!! So many things. loved the saddles , buckles, kids wagons up top row, old cars, and Ice Cream!!!! OMGEEEE All so well kept and clean as a whistle!

The movie posters alone are worth a bundle to a collector. That museum is a great detour on any trip.

OMG How great is that museum‼️ So grateful to the townsfolk who obviously go to so much trouble to keep the museum immaculate - its spotless & so beautifully presented. Impressive yes❣ and so grateful to you for bringing all of these amazing places to us - thank you Russ 🙏 stay safe. 🤗
1902 Oldsmobile! State of the art museum!
To bad you can't spend more time in North Dakota. Maybe next major road trip. Great museums. Hard to believe what you can find in small towns. Thanks Russ for stopping.
Great video! Not a fingerprint on the polished brass stanchions around the cars. Incredible housekeeping!
Thank you so much for your videos. I have an toddler with autism that LOVES all of your travel videos.
Cool
Very nice well maintained museum

I have so enjoyed your tours of North Dakota. My great grandparents homesteaded in Dakota Territory - around Oakes, in 1883. My grandpa homesteaded just south of Marmarth, what was considered Concord, ND, a stage coach stop. He ran away with my grandma in 1910. They got married in Concord. They lived in a sod house high above the Little Missouri - on a cut bank. The left in 1920, dried out because of the wrong farming techniques - which was when the dust bowl really started. The winter of 1919-1920 they stayed in a hotel in Rhame and headed back to Oakes when the weather improved. All they had left was a cow and a Model T. One of the neighbors, Ray Miller, hauled their soddie over to his place and in 1950, it was still being used as a farm building.
That's a great place to spend a day.
What an awesome museum in the middle of nowhere. The place is spotless! Nice find Russ!
That's one nice museum. The kids wagon collection up on top in that last building was amazing. Most of those I've never seen before. I was hoping Russ would have highlighted them.

This place is very neat. They have tons of antique autos and other cool things plus a good bit of interesting history from the area.
My brother-in-law owns a Construction Company in North Dakota, he built most of the buildings for this museum. The owner (Mr Van-horn) is a 85 years old and a real gentleman. He knows a lot of history from the area and very nice guy to work for.
That museum was awesome! Nice work Russ👍

Hey Russ, you drove past our house!!! Marmarth is great piece of history!!!
Another Auto western museum videos from you sir.did you njoy the ice cream sir?njoy the trip sir❤❤❤❤👌👌👌👌👍👍👍
Loved the tour! The little movie theater - the Mystic - is supposed to be the oldest one in North Dakota. Opened in 1914 and put on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1977, it underwent a major restoration in 1999. Evidently it still gets used for special events throughout the year.
Another great find Russ. I luv 💗 antique cars 🚗.
To cool for school is right!!! That museum is a diamond in the ruff... Sad to see the small town just turn into a ghost town but many small town have.... hate to say it but kinda nice being there by yourself!! No crowds :) Stay safe!!
What a awesome find that was. love seeing those old cars just amazing.
Wow I'm impressed, thanks great job
Awesome museum.
So cool Russ. Nothing like the good old days. That guy has an eye for antiques indeed. Thx 🤗
Van life people, we should pool our $$$ & rebuild the small town. Russ u can be the mayor. hehe
Enjoyed the video. I really love those small towns. Thanks! Be Safe!
What a neat place. Thanks for sharing.
My parents used to winter down in Quartsite several years ago. They loved going to all the flea markets. Mom said that it was Snowbirds territory. They had a lot of fun.
Beautiful at campsite! I love watching. Thanks Russ.
Thanks Russ! Enjoyed!
What a jewel!
what a great presentation I need to make a trip there next year if things work out!! I think the only thing missing is a couple of old windmills
This was fun and fantastic 😊
Hey Russ!!! Their "BETTER" Than "NEW" Ones!!! Be Safe!!!
Excellent vlog. Great adventure and history.
Marmarth was a crew change point on the former Milwaukee Road (Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific.) The tracks are now operated by Burlington Northern. The building on the right as you first came into town was the depot that was moved after the Milwaukee bellied up in 1986. The same U.S. 12 Highway runs through the town I live in here in Wisconsin.
My problem with travelling is I want to sleep in my own bed every night but I really enjoy your adventure the past few months of seeing the USA. You caused the drought out west because God also followed you with the rain you encountered during the first few weeks of your travels. I will continue to watch your travels where ever you decide to go and share.

That is a cool place Russ, thanks.
Love the cool cars!
I do too
Awesome find & video Russ.
Very cool
I grew up in Marmarth and use to walk and get ice cream at the museum. My mom had an antique shop in the "downtown".
This place is amazing. I went with my son several years ago. We were on a Forest Service Dinosaur Dig just up the road. We were the ONLY people there. They opened it just for us. An incredible amount of history, and so well kept. This place is a must see if you are anywhere in the area.!
I'm a subscriber of a few months but yours is my FAVORITE You Tube channel! Since you're headed to Montana check out Kalispell. It's very historic, especially the Conrad Mansion, downtown, and the court house.. That's on the west side, after Glacier. Polson is interesting, too, the Miracle of America Museum is a MUST SEE!!!
Fascinating museum. Thanks for taking us around with you. I particularly liked the old tractors towards the end.
By the way, I watched this video because it was recommended by the WaskiSquirrel channel.

Cool museum. My sons would love to see all the vehicles. 😊
Wow! How in the world does one man accumulate that much wealth? I'm blown away at this video. Amazing! 😊👍

Russ Too Cool 4 School - We Love RVerTV - Best TV On UA-cam. Canadians Need RVerTV Eh. Thank you Russ.
That was a great museum tour. Hey it's not a ghost town. It's the biggest city in the county. It's way bigger than the county seat, which only has 20 people. LOL. It looks like the town started out in about 1910 with 790 people, grew to 1,318 ten years later and has been steadily declining ever since. Those Main Street buildings look to have been abandoned almost since the beginning. The original rusted light fixture is still hanging over the bank entrance. That's a sign that the building was never reused for anything much. 😎👍

The price of admission let's one see all those neat antique automobiles and trucks AND gets you a dish of ice cream?! Can't beat that, Russ. Bucket list! By the way, those guys from "American Pickers" would go bonkers over all of the museum's toys.
Kind of sad about the abandoned buildings in the town's business district. Rest assured, Marmarth, you are not unique by any means. Thanks for finding this gem and sharing with the rest of us, Russ.

Six month till i retire and start traveling. you have shown me some great places to visit
Great video 106 degrees in Arizona
Congrats on 70K, Russ. I think you've doubled your base in a year. Maybe start thinking about the 100K giveaway...:)
🙋♀️Hello Russ! A very proud collection of the past in mint condition. Amazing. The RCA logo of "Nipper" listening to "His Master's Voice", has a story to it. That whole museum had a story to tell. I love museums! This was impressive. Sad to see so many buildings closed up. Quiet little RV park. Quiet little town. Loved the aerial view showing just how large Van Horns Museum was. Definite a must see if ever in the area. 👍
Dust-free antique car display.
Yesterday town
What an awesome museum! The cars on display are in immaculate condition! I need to put this on my bucket list when I can resume road tripping again once this COVID pandemic is over. Thank you Russ!
This is a very quaint little town and is about 10 miles from the Montana and South Dakota Borders in extreme SW North Dakota, this area is wealthy from both Oil and Gas Wells.
Russ. Truly enjoy your videos. We are heading that way Thursday and 90% of our trip is hitting all the locations you’ve recently visited in SD and ND 😁
How’s the availability of fuel stops ( Diesel in our regards ) in some of these more remote places ?
Have fun! fuel is no problem
Great museum thanks for the journey I'll be heading to the Quartzite, AZ at the end of October from my summer playground in the Sierra hope to see ya there.
23:30-Russ you need to turn around and go west to get to Montana. Baker is just 18 miles away.
Yo Russ, Way Kool
Russ, you said you were heading to Williston N.D. in your last video. Change of plans, or just getting forgetful?
Highway 12 goes east to Minneapolis, then east in to Wisconsin. Every inch is interesting, but not as cool at what you found.
My gosh I wish I was you right now
I went there last month and was told it was "Closed For the Season". That Pissed Me Off.
Xlnt!
