- While playing my HCIM I found these guys. They are a hidden gem within the update. I've hardly heard anyone talk about how AMAZING their EXP is. They are better than NMZ Dharoking, take no supplies and you don't have to fight people at crabs for mediocre afk rates.
You can do this at any point in your account as long as you've done the Moons quest. Plenty of budget setups work for this, best is to have a multi hit weapon because of their armor mechanic.
I averaged 115k exp/hr with low stats.

Been waiting to see a comment like this so I could go back to enjoying Gnomemonkey. Love his content but how cocky he was about his HCIM makes it not worth investing the time. Yeah i was using this since it released. But its places like this that make me not give a shit about the complaints people make about our updates. Theres always gonna be hidden gems in updates and barely anyone will know about them until a content creator finds it

@@mclovinjdtrelax, Varlamore also has tons of sand crab spots so there will be plenty of options on the island. You also have other non-aggressive monsters in the cave so you can still get the resource free training without the AFK aspect. Varlamore is gonna be really good for leagues regardless of how many people know about naguas and the 4 crab spawn spot

You don't have to kill all the moons. I stopped the quest way before that and farmed 1500 of those.
The only reason to do NMZ is on UIM where you can fully refund the points to store the now not imbued item.
Of course you got scrolls from arena, but the scroll is given back upon refund instead of points that don't take up an inventory slot.
What a nerd; unlucky.
Keep in mind you don't need to complete the quest, i was training on these guys well before i did the bosses of the quest.
When I tested this for my video, i found a maxed account can get over 200k xp/hr
oh weird, i thought they were already known i've been doing them for a while, these and scurrius were both really nice additions
that little zombie spot with defenders of varrock is nice too, i just didn't finish the quest and boosted myself in soul wars for ice pouches to burst them on a pvp world until i got some axes for my gim
swamp crabs in morytania are also an honorable mention for afk ranged since there's a spot where you can pull like 10 of them in multi

Surprised it took people so long to realise these guys are good, I've been doing sulpher naguas since the release of pmoons, and I got the sulpher blades on 25kc, and rocked them for like 10k+ kills lol

I did 1600 kills there to get sulphur blades and I couldn't believe I didn't see one other person there.

Made an ironman about 2 months ago. Got the sulphur blades drop super early. I’m about base 70 melee stats across. I get about 90k+ exp/hr there. Literally the hidden gem for mid game ironman looking for melee combat exp
It's okay but you have to keep repotting where as crabs are 10 mins AFK no clicking.
@@Steven-hq3go true. I will say that these are obvs more involving, but still minimal effort.
Crabs are 100% afk for about 40-45k exp/hr at my level(70s).
These naguas are over double that exp AND they have good drops! I’ve killed so many I have a stack of 10k chaos runes chillin in my bank. Plus this gave me enough coal and ores to jumpstart my giants foundry grind.
Glad to see the blood moon armor/weapon have good uses. I hope the other ones get uses lol

I will say, these are almost always packed with at least 2-3 different players. Though, the same can be said for chinning/barraging Manicial Monkeys and that’s still not a huge huge issue.

You dont need to kill the moons before you can do it, you only need it to turn in the runecraft xp
Tried some early naguas on my iron and it's busted. However sand crabs still got a place for hard afking. With 60 prayer i got less than 4 minutes of afk before id have to sip again. While sandcrabs are 8 minutes and they wont kill you if you clean your apartment for too long. So naguas for active training and sand crabs for hard afk

Got 95 Str and 90 Att/Def here before swapping to Slayer on my GIM. Got enough chaos runes in drops to fund my whole 5 mans furies. I'm surprised its taken someone so long to make a vid on em!
forgot to mention you can catch moonlight moths at the other spot to the left and extend your prayer for even longer,
i believe they can also be tick manipulated to instantly catch them if you pass the hunter check

I got my def pure to sulphur naguas and its decent xp because of that increased damage.
So many people will still do Sand Crabs despite everything going for Nagas solely just because they don’t have to do the 1 minute prep at the very start for making potions lol 😂
And you don’t die if you AFK too hard. Just get logged and can reset in 10 secs
You don't actually need to finish the quest by the way, you just need to complete it up to where you can enter the area.

The advantage of NMZ is that it's not competitive for a spot unlike these

100k+ cballs from 70-90 melees here as well if you hate BF shop, 200k if you buy the rest of the coal. Combined with chaos+death rune drops it's a nice setup for slayer
Huey drops HELLA cannonballs right now in small teams. Highly suggest that instead of handmaking them

I mentioned using them halfway through. Yes they work, but you should go to Frost Naguas or do Moons to get better. They aren't great.

You set up the Mystics like you're doing a 3+12, spec the one you destack so you can chin the 0 def one and go br.

I couldve swore that Sulphur Blades gained a passive 15% damage and accuracy vs Naguas
Before we know about armour as a mechanic, that was the speculation about why weapons hit Naguas harder, but it was always just the armour

This doesn't kill crabs (or nmz which i actually like more than crabs once you have the quests done). Just like any other thing in the game, more attention equates to more xp, but sometimes i only wanna click every 10 minutes to reset aggro.
oh, you're not completely right about the recs btw.
the moonlight pots only give you the boosts comparable to a super set if you have the herblore level to makea super set. they will give you a boost comparable to normal potions instead if you're low.

Gonna need a lot of DPS and a little luck for the blood moon. Eclipse should be easy if you can do the clone special, and blue moon isn’t too hard but also has the same armor mechanic as sulfur naguas so you can get a multi-hit weapon if youre struggling there. Blood moon is just hard tho - no way to block his basic attacks without def bonus and they heal him more than the specials so end of the day it’s just a DPS check.
I’d recommend just not doing it if you want to be a pure tbh lol, youre not gonna have a good time grinding the bosses and you don’t need to finish the quest to access the sulfur naguas. So at the end of the day all you’d get out of finishing it is the small amount of passive prayer XP from sulfurous essence which is probably not your main goal if youre making a pure. If you want money, go to the colosseum instead and farm early waves for roughly the same gp/hr

@@0oShwavyo0 the mace was for blue moon. The war hammer was for the extra dmg from the mechanics on blue and eclipse moon. It took a couple tries to get the strat but it’s basically on farm for my account now. I skip blood moon even farming for darts and the range weapon cause he just takes way too long, but death piling food makes blood moon pretty much guaranteed. The hardcore method would be to just go there with better weapons, stats, and fish for good blood moon rng

honestly on an ironman the early herb levels are easy, cuz you should be able to dump lamps till like 70 herb+, if u need 55 herb just go do some diaries, or certain quests.

Nothing in the game beats afk at dark beasts they never lose aggro so it’s 100% perma afk in full prayer gear, they drop so much rune and dark bows the cost of prayer pots is irrelevant, and with all the new prayer gear I easy 20min afk then just click a prayer pot and 20min more afk

Sulpher blades have a bonus roll on damage to those guys, too. So they're - I think - BIS for that training method.
Macas are better. But blades are quite good
The only "bonus" is a 15% increase to you max hit, otherwise the armor mechanic is explained in the video & applies to all weapons. Sulpher Blades are the equal to a d-scim, so the boppers are better by a lot.

Man I gotta say all this new content with all this weird ass looking gear and wack naming..makes me a bit worried for the game. Some of the new shit looks completely out of place in osrs to me. I remember back in the day I felt like this when they started coming out with all the purple shit and abyssal sire etc, but then they kinda found their groove, but now it's getting weird again.
Well, isn't it just delightful that your narrow worldview is being challenged by content inspired by non-European cultures? I'm sure it must be terribly unsettling to see something beyond the tired tropes of knights and castles.
Perhaps, and I know this might be a stretch, but perhaps this "weird ass looking gear" and "wack naming" is actually an opportunity to broaden your horizons and appreciate the rich diversity of human cultures that exist beyond your comfort zone. Shocking, I know.
It's almost as if the developers are trying to create a more inclusive and varied game world that doesn't solely cater to a Eurocentric perspective. How inconsiderate of them to assume players might enjoy experiencing something new and different!
But don't worry, I'm sure if you close your eyes tight enough and wish really hard, all the scary new content will go away, and you can return to your safe, familiar world of "traditional" fantasy tropes. In the meantime, maybe consider that your discomfort might be a sign of personal growth rather than a flaw in the game's design.
Remember, change can be good, even if it doesn't conform to your expectations. Who knows? You might even learn something if you approach it with an open mind. But that's entirely up to you, of course.
