General, may I highlight one other important statistic you've missed, the magazine. The Halo 1 AR had a ridiculously large mag, 60 rounds of 7.62mm of lead, which is more comparable to the M7 SMG mag size. This statistic would make it the undisputed king of the ARs Personally, I liked the M37 AR from Reach. It looked brilliant, was accurate at medium range, had decent power against Elites and Brutes, and it sounded great. The Halo 1 AR felt more like an SMG than a rifle firing full power 7.62 NATO shells. It worked well for close quarters combat. The Halo 3 AR, well I'd empty magazines (plural) into a Brute (just a minor one) and he wouldn't die. Need I go on?
Yeah that's my opinion too cause halo 4 AR is better than halo 5 AR cause in halo 5 it has been nerfed which makes it the worst automatic weapon - 20 rounds to kill a fully shielded spartan instead of 15. - less aim assist and less auto aim
H2A has an assault rifle. Curious how it stacks up against these ones. Also, clip capacity should also be accounted for, as having 60 bullets at your disposal before reloading is much better than the 32 in Halo 3. Good stuff though!
Hey GeneralHeed, love your content, but I do have to agree with one of the other comments, I believe this was poorly conducted. I feel like you're comparing apples and pears with certain stats and games, e.g. the velocity stat, your range is in the thousands, how do you even compare 80 to 3000, and why does it matter if you base the "winner" on dps alone. Speaking of which, you are saying stats with nothing to compare to, you may have explained this in your previous comparison video but i didn't watch it so forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't know what 1 damage is. How much health does an elite have? How does the damage scale on different difficulties? Also I feel like you could have compared each games assault rifle to the arsenals of the other games, as in, was it useful compared to other weapons, e.g. Halo: CE's assault rifle is nigh useless on Legendary, and pales in comparison to the Magnum. And you didn't even take multiplayer into account, which you probably had no intention of doing but if you're gonna crown a "best assault rifle ever" you should probably look at all the variables. Speaking of which, I believe 4's assault rifle was the best for multiplayer. Anyway, just a little rant, I adore your content, but maybe leave statistical analysis to other people, if you're gonna do something right don't half arse it. Thanks for the videos mate
exactly. there is zero context to what any of these stats actually amount to. as an example, if halo 1 had elites with 1000 health units on normal difficulty, and halo 4 had elites with 500 health on normal difficulty, both weapons would have a theoretically identical time to kill, but the halo 4 assault rifle would have more range. the value of these stats are arbitrary unless you apply them to something. if you are going to do these tests, actually TEST the stats and see what they amount to via Time To Kill.
To be honest this wasn't a very well done test. For starters you didn't mention the H2A Multiplayer AR, and when you take into account accuracy and bullet spread when firing in one constant stream, the Halo CE AR is completely woeful. The Halo CE AR was most likely designed by Bungie in a way that you would have to fire it in bursts, in order to preserve accuracy, and it's only ever used when in campaign. It basically has no use/niche in multiplayer unless you use it point blank where you would have to possess no skill whatsover to miss most of your shots. Honestly the Halo 4 AR out - performs the rest because it's well balanced. Fair damage and it's accurate if you're skilled enough to compensate for recoil by adjusting your aim everytime the recoil throws of your reticle from it's target. Halo 3 AR suffered from a similar problem to that of the Halo CE AR. Really not much use in multiplayer...If I had it my way, Halo would have better weapon balancing so every fight isn't just a fucking pistol dual, like it is in Halo 5.
You didn’t mention the Halo 2 Anniversary MP assault rifle You didn’t mention accuracy or spread attack You based your final conclusion on DPS alone I hate to say this, as I love your channel, but this test was poorly conducted.
PotatoKilr it’s alright! I meanC sure he could’ve done a more in depth study, but I think he explains how he found the stats in the first video of this type. I’d be interested to see what you find
3's design was beautiful. Plus, I really miss the clicking/readying sound when you switch to the AR. I wish 343 would bring that back instead of the leather/high pitched beep sound.
With velocity, I think you are assuming that these units are treated the same in all game engines. Remember that 11 years separate Halo 1 and 4. It is likely things work differently.
halo 3 easily worst sniper for the low aim assist. halo reach for a great balance betweeen accuracy and anti vehicel. halo ce for pure accuracy or alternative halo 2 for higher reload speed then ce but less range
Halo reach. Has the best feel, sound and look. Not strong but worked great for depleting the shield and then to 1 shot the player with the secondary. Edit: And also makes the game not as noob friendly like halo 4 and (Eddie spassow) and which is better for the better players.
I'd literally take any other weapon over the Reach AR. It's a peashooter; only thing it has for it is the velocity but it doesn't matter because it does shit damage.
@Spartan Charge From behind than shoot don't punch, in reach (just before full cod knockoff status was achieved) you could still hear and see when their shields broke, unless you're just being a memelord in which case why not use the ar, or the plasma repeater on a fully shielded opponent with no cooling the weapon down.
Whichever DMR is the best, it wouldn’t be Halo Reach because it has a very high spread attack and spread max, and assuming Halo 4 and 5 have the same damage and RPM, Halo 4 or 5 would win because they have (as far as I know) 0 spread.
Reach had the best of these IMO. I honestly never swapped it for anything while playing the game. Always was willing to replace my secondary…but kept the AR from beginning to end. Loved it.
Wouldn't it be relative to the enemies defences against shots? if it takes more hits to put down a grunt in CE than in H3 then surely that would mean H3s assault rifle is better.
Halo 1 strategy guide made it very clear that the assault rifle was best against shields and groups of smaller enemies, as well that it's pretty much the best gun in game.
My list: 1. Halo CE (you can't never go wrong with 60 ammo per capacity) 2. Halo Reach (the look, feel and shooting mechanics is fantastic) 3. Halo 5 (better than Halo 4) 4. Halo 4 (feel more like a actual gun than Halo 3) 5. Halo 3/ODST (feel like I'm shooting rubber bullets)
Melissa Waterman I’ve used about a 1/3rd of a mag to kill a grunt, remember the aggressive reticle bloom that makes the AR awkward to handle at ranges a DMR would do good at
Ok. So firth off, you left some key components out. Accuracy. Spread. And honestly effectiveness in each game. H1- low accuracy, high spread. High effectiveness at point blank. Out at range, kinda iffy. H3/ODST- Higher accuracy with less spread. Fairly average at low-medium range. Hard to kill elites, brutes, and players in one mag. HR- more accurate on initial burst, less so after. Slightly more poweful. Can kill lower tier elites in one mag. Not much else higher than that. H4- Accuracy like Reach, but much more effective at killing shielded targets at medium range than any others. Still outshined at point blank by H1. CONCLUSION: Halo 4's felt most effective at being an assault rifle. Halo CE felt like a beefy SMG. I'm goin with Halo 4's.
Reach’s assault rifle in my opinion looks the coolest and is my favorite because I’d use that and the DMR back to back in that game and it was almost as good as the dmr shotgun combo
The DPS of vague stats is not the only thing to consider for the best weapon. Did you check damage multipliers or bullet spread, I feel like those factors would influence the outcome a little, also it might be useful to make sure the enemies have the same amounts of health. P.S. I would have liked to see Halo 2's SMG, as it fills the role of the AR in that game, P.P.S HL2 BR replaced the magnum's role, not the AR's
Isn't the damage per second predicated on hitting every bullet fired, as you said? Wouldn't it be worth looking into the spread of each assault rifle? I know that the stereotype of the CE AR is that it the bullets go flying, especially when you hold down the trigger (tap firing is a great way to control spread in the later games- HR and H4 for example). When you start multiplying the CE ARs damage per second number by .8 or .6 (cuz only 80% or 60% or bullets would hit, I'm just estimating), you could have some very different results.
DPS is only relevant assuming enemy Hit points are constant across all the games. Not to mention that there is some level of Armor/resistance in play that has to be accounted for. in halo CE the weapons effect different enemies differently( ex the sniper in CE is powerful but completely useless against flood). just from playing the games I felt the halo 3 AR killed enemies the fastest. Anyways that’s my 2 cents, just that raw numbers might not determine which is actually the most effective:)
Halo 4 assault rifle was too accurate not to be at the top of this list. You could effectively hit headshots with it and kill as fast as the br and out snipe most players
After Halo CE fans said the assault rifle acted too much like an smg and the pistol acted too much like a rifle, so they replaced them with the SMG and battle rifle respectively, contrary to when you said the battle rifle replaced the assault rifle
Eyyyy heed. Is it possible to full replace a wepon, example exchange the Halo reach AR with the Halo 1 version with all the stats of CE damage/velocity/rate of Fire. If this is possible can you make some videos where a halo game does not have its own wepons but that for another. How many games can it done for
1:57 I'm not sure you know what the word "similar" means. It's an entirely different weapon. The only similarity is range. *Everything* else- the sound, the spread, the damage, the RoF, and the clip size, is different. It shoots a tighter group in 3 than CE. Thats the only improvement lol.
It's interesting to know that Halo 3's AR and Reach AR have the same Fire Rate. Probably why the Halo Online Assault Rifle has Reach shooting sound effect and sounds exactly the same as Reach.
When I was a kid I had only ever played H2. This year, I played it again (along with all the bungle Halo titles) expecting there to be an assault rifle. I ended up not even noticing it wasn’t there until this video.
Doesn't matter, we're comparing the AR's strictly, not the strength of the enemies. If you could move all the AR's into 1 Halo game and use them all against the same enemy, then the Halo 1 assault rifle would be the most powerful no matter which game you moved it to.
@@Generalkidd , accuracy and damage multipliers might influence the rating a bit, perhaps some other stats also could be considered like max secondary ammo, bullet penetration, etc. P.S. I think TheZayManNerfer wanted to know the "best" in terms of combat effectiveness in the game where each weapon was balanced for, which would be a better video idea in my opinion.
If you're not going to put the weapons into the context of the game they are in, then Halo 1 weapons will win all comparisons, especially if you remain ignorant of the other stats. This comparison is as bad as comparing price of something in us dollars vs euros.
Am I the only one whos never felt like these guns were actual projectiles? Maybe its because i only played campaign, but I always felt like they were hitscan and I never had to lead my shots. Anyone clarify?
Hey! Love your content, I watch it almost daily! Thanks for all the time you put into it and for constantly giving us new nuggets of things to enjoy about games we’ve been playing since CE!!! So, i wanted to point something out, could you explore the stat differences in the covenant vs. humans vs flood AND their weapons? I feel like the relative difference across games might be smaller than you think, or tweaked in a way we didn’t realize. Like, the max range on HR compared to the max range of the BR of CE might be insane, but the gap between their respective Covenant Plasma Rifle would be more telling of how the rifles stack up within their own games! Same thing with the enemies total hit points. 150dps might seem like a lot to 58.34dps, but if the standard Elite’s health is significantly lower in HR then perhaps it’s relatively more powerful! It’s clear that each game wanted to tweak the play style and feel of our experience. CE wanted us to get up close and personal with high DPS and Rate of Fire, but low range whereas Reach wanted us to pick enemies apart from afar with the insane range and velocity. It’s cool because the weapons really change in use due to those alterations to stats. I wonder how the Sniper Rifles changed relative to the games they were in!!!
Halo 1 does not have the battle rifle so the halo 4 battle rifle may be the best cause it's more accurate but doesn't that much damage than halo 2 and 3.
Not gonna lie, I actually love the assault rifle in Halo, I carried it through my halo CE playthroughs when I was a kid and I missed it in Halo 2, after so long of its absence I was actually happy to see its return in the box art and game in Halo 3, I don’t know why, just as a kid and early teen there was almost a sentimental attachment to it.
The variable I'm not sure was considered was how the dps stands up against the health values of the enemies in that game. In Halo CE, I threw that thing away on legendary because I couldn't kill anything fast enough with it. But I'd actually use it on purpose in Halo 4 on legendary in a midrange fight with an elite and the SAW/needler wasn't around.
Halo1 AR is the most badass AR, I especially love to use AR in the mission called silent cartographer where at the end masterchief after activating the entrance of underground of halo and then plan to return to upper floor, damn that theme and AR combo, it's like they are made for each other😍
i know alot about Halo CE specs because i use to mod it alot but i dont know anything about he other Halos specs but are they all similar? are the world units the same size per game? that might explain velocities dramatically changing. if they made world units smaller in the newer games. also your not taking into account of weapon spread and magazine size. since Halo CE had 60 rounds vs the others 32, thats pretty significant change. which with its high damage should make it king. but its defiantly the worse AR of all the games because its spread was soo bad it was unusable at mid or long range. however the other AR had less damage and mag size but better spread so it can actually be used at mid range. in CE the AR starts with a random spread up to 2 degrees but after 0.6 seconds (9 rounds) of continues firing, its spread is 6.5 degrees. bursting only helps soo much when it takes a full second to reset the spread also are health vs damage ratio similar in other games. for example a basic elite in CE has 100health and 100 shields. most marines have 60 health 45 shields. ratio might be affected if lets say a Halo 3 Elite had 50 health and 50 shield. in which case a H3 AR does less numerical damage but can kill quicker. also depends on actual damage multipliers for materials. a AR projectile in CE has a damage multiplier of 1 to most enemies. however to an elite energy shield it only has a multiplier of 0.7, meaning even if a elite has 100 shield health, it basicly would take several more hits to deplete the shield because instead of doing 10 damage, its only doing 7 damage. so if the multipliers are different in the other games, it can also change its true effectiveness
Do all the enemies have the same health between the different games tho? Because one might have the biggest value, but maybe the enemies could have more health on average, making it weaker in gameplay
Didnt have to even watch the video to know it was halo 1 assault rifle. Just from playing with all them and absolutely shutting down enemies with it over the years so easily
I would have included the Halo 2 SMG as an honorable mention. It fulfilled the same role as the Halo: CE AR, complete with crosshair, which is probably why they never included it.
Just something I thought of, but would it also be relevant to determine each games character health bar and shield amounts to determine which one kills fastest as well? Just something to think about, because I believe I have heard once before that you have 75 health and 100 shield in Halo CE, but I never have seen for the other games.
Actually Halo 5 isn't the only game you left out the weapon comparison from, you forget Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer also has the Assault Rifle so if you could do an updated vid in the future when you do get the stats you'd also need to do that game as well

Bailey Levanen true but I feel if your that close melee and BR headshot far more efficient.
I look up health values, and I found halo 3 the players health totals to 115 points. But that was all I was really able to find
exactly. there is zero context to what any of these stats actually amount to. as an example, if halo 1 had elites with 1000 health units on normal difficulty, and halo 4 had elites with 500 health on normal difficulty, both weapons would have a theoretically identical time to kill, but the halo 4 assault rifle would have more range. the value of these stats are arbitrary unless you apply them to something. if you are going to do these tests, actually TEST the stats and see what they amount to via Time To Kill.
I agree, that's really my problem with these videos
What are these stats? Max range of 40 what? What unit of damage? What about the velocity of ___ what? Define by units per second please
Damage of 5 with rof of 10 = 50 dps...
John Kevaro nah Halo 3s ar is more like 4s at least in campaign.
He couldn't compare Halo 2 Anniversary.
You didn’t mention the Halo 2 Anniversary MP assault rifle
You didn’t mention accuracy or spread attack
You based your final conclusion on DPS alone
I hate to say this, as I love your channel, but this test was poorly conducted.
PotatoKilr it’s alright! I meanC sure he could’ve done a more in depth study, but I think he explains how he found the stats in the first video of this type. I’d be interested to see what you find
That doesn't count
I agree. Using a stats alone isnt that great. He didn't even include ammo.
the H2A AR is a legit copy of H4's
@@baileylevanen9009 Also reload speed, swap/pickup speed, melee damage, duration, and range.
Which halo has best sniper?
Halo 1 and 2 are the peak of all halo weapons tbh
halo 3 easily worst sniper for the low aim assist. halo reach for a great balance betweeen accuracy and anti vehicel. halo ce for pure accuracy or alternative halo 2 for higher reload speed then ce but less range
I like the design of Reach's the best. Very slick. I like the sound of Halo 4's for sure
starshiy serzhant oh no Reach had a far worse sniper the elites aren't even stunned making it very hard to down them.
Halo reach. Has the best feel, sound and look. Not strong but worked great for depleting the shield and then to 1 shot the player with the secondary.
Edit: And also makes the game not as noob friendly like halo 4 and (Eddie spassow) and which is better for the better players.
I dont line how it looks in 1st person but it was good
I'd literally take any other weapon over the Reach AR. It's a peashooter; only thing it has for it is the velocity but it doesn't matter because it does shit damage.
I'm sad cuz I never really got to play Reach at all but now my friend is allowed to get an xbox so we can play it!
@Spartan Charge From behind 4 had the worse multiplayer
WHICH HALO GAME HAS BEST DMR
Harshit shukla halo 5 simply because they made it what it is, a hard hitting precision rifle.
@@cobracommander4369 i think reach has better dmr
Cobra Commander pffft obviously halo CE
Harshit shukla Reach is by far the best designed, and easily the worst stats due to the shitty bloom.
The AR is definitely not the best weapon in CE lol, the pistol is far better overall and the shotgun is better at close range
@@skunkstriped no one cares buddy you're four years too late to a conversation
My list:
1. Halo CE (you can't never go wrong with 60 ammo per capacity)
2. Halo Reach (the look, feel and shooting mechanics is fantastic)
3. Halo 5 (better than Halo 4)
4. Halo 4 (feel more like a actual gun than Halo 3)
5. Halo 3/ODST (feel like I'm shooting rubber bullets)
@Melissa Waterman I guess I being a bit bias as I played Halo Reach before Halo 3/ODST and find the AR disappointing
Melissa Waterman I’ve used about a 1/3rd of a mag to kill a grunt, remember the aggressive reticle bloom that makes the AR awkward to handle at ranges a DMR would do good at
When he said “halo 1 has the biggest clip” I just died
P.S. I would have liked to see Halo 2's SMG, as it fills the role of the AR in that game,
P.P.S HL2 BR replaced the magnum's role, not the AR's
I must stress that Submachine Guns are different from Assault Rifles. That's why he didn't count the Halo 2 SMG.
There may be no stats on H5 but Halo 5 has the best due to the added headshot damage. Shreds the most, hands down.
Halo 2 anniversary had a Assault rifle
I think it was the Halo 4 ar they used there.
Souper Effective multiplayer but they used a halo 4 model
Isn't the damage per second predicated on hitting every bullet fired, as you said? Wouldn't it be worth looking into the spread of each assault rifle? I know that the stereotype of the CE AR is that it the bullets go flying, especially when you hold down the trigger (tap firing is a great way to control spread in the later games- HR and H4 for example). When you start multiplying the CE ARs damage per second number by .8 or .6 (cuz only 80% or 60% or bullets would hit, I'm just estimating), you could have some very different results.
Take a shot everytime he says "assault rifle"
no thanks im not ready to be that slamed at 11:27am
The AR is just a great gun overall
If Halo 2 had the Assualt Rifle
Max Range: 100
Velocity: 250
Damage: 25
Fire Rate: 60
@Novitrix the enemies would get a hold of it
DPS is only relevant assuming enemy Hit points are constant across all the games.
I luv it
After Halo CE fans said the assault rifle acted too much like an smg and the pistol acted too much like a rifle, so they replaced them with the SMG and battle rifle respectively, contrary to when you said the battle rifle replaced the assault rifle
Eyyyy heed.
Is it possible to full replace a wepon, example exchange the Halo reach AR with the Halo 1 version with all the stats of CE damage/velocity/rate of Fire.
If this is possible can you make some videos where a halo game does not have its own wepons but that for another.
How many games can it done for
You could but why?
@@MarksterC why not, make a game effectively emulated inside itself. Replace all ai bodies too and play a halo game with models from the previous game
Where are my I C O N IC bois at?
Legendary Master Chief
Hello there
Chief: sir, permission to give the Covenant back their bomb...
Admiral Hood: Permission granted.
ICONIC
So basically, Halo 3 and Reach nerfed the shit out of the AR and made it into a spray and pray peashooter?
Which game has the best Prophets Bane????
It's only in halo 5
The blue cube halo 5 has the best one then
I believe its also in halo 5 multiplayer beta, I saw beta gameplay of a pro tournament and the bane was in the map they were competing on
Definitely better in halo combat evolved. It's really hard to get, and really op.
They prophet's bane is only in Halo 5 campaign and multiplayer
I love the sound of halo C.Es assault rife with will forever be my favorite for that reason
I beat justin y here...
what is the name of the song that starts at 4:00?? Thanks!
yeah um next time include accuracy stats. you can't hit anything with the assault rifle in halo 1.
Asault rifle in halo 3: The pop-corn machine!
Reach and Halo 4, it's sounds so powerful
Have you tried the Halo SPV3 assault rifle?
Halo 4
Why do you not look at the magazine size?
Wrong - Halo 1 enemies have more health.
@@Generalkidd so this test is arbitrary at best.
@@sb17899 ,This video: DPS wins*!
*at point blank range, if all guns were modded into CE with their game's stats, single clip, etc.
Am I the only one whos never felt like these guns were actual projectiles? Maybe its because i only played campaign, but I always felt like they were hitscan and I never had to lead my shots. Anyone clarify?
The projectiles for HL:CE move really fast.
I mean halo 3 which seems to be the worst offender
Idk if it’s just the game but when I play halo 4 (which is rare) the AR feels powerful and it just shreds down the covi and promethians
Honestly, according to me, HALO CE is the best in weapon stats.
but ya gotta admit, feeling the controller rumble motor lose it's damn mind every time you fired the AR in H1 felt really good.
makeshift vibrator
Hey GenneralKidd in those tools that u have does it says other stats like dispersion standing still, dispersion per shot, reload time, etc?
Where'd you get the values for the CE AR? When I checked in assembly it said the AR has a velocity of 10.8, which is obviously incorrect
These videos should become a series.
Idea: Which halo game has the best Battle Rifle?
It would be halo ce though *oviously*
Halo 1 does not have the battle rifle so the halo 4 battle rifle may be the best cause it's more accurate but doesn't that much damage than halo 2 and 3.
Not gonna lie, I actually love the assault rifle in Halo, I carried it through my halo CE playthroughs when I was a kid and I missed it in Halo 2, after so long of its absence I was actually happy to see its return in the box art and game in Halo 3, I don’t know why, just as a kid and early teen there was almost a sentimental attachment to it.
I love this series
Is it possible to modify stats on the weapons?
modding tools, of course
These videos are extremely relaxing ngl
The variable I'm not sure was considered was how the dps stands up against the health values of the enemies in that game. In Halo CE, I threw that thing away on legendary because I couldn't kill anything fast enough with it. But I'd actually use it on purpose in Halo 4 on legendary in a midrange fight with an elite and the SAW/needler wasn't around.
I've always wanted a mil-sim style, lore-accurate Halo spinoff with weapons more powerful than those found in the regular franchise. Anyone else?
There's a halo mod for Arma 3. Pretty cool stuff. They even have covenant cruisers glassing the players in some levels
Halo1 AR is the most badass AR, I especially love to use AR in the mission called silent cartographer where at the end masterchief after activating the entrance of underground of halo and then plan to return to upper floor, damn that theme and AR combo, it's like they are made for each other😍
3, odst and CE don't use hitscan. They actually shoot projectiles. 2, 4, reach and 5 use hitscan, which is why their "velocity" is so incredibly high.
Considering it's a more close quarters weapon, I feel like you should've taken melee into consideration as well.
i know alot about Halo CE specs because i use to mod it alot but i dont know anything about he other Halos specs but are they all similar? are the world units the same size per game? that might explain velocities dramatically changing. if they made world units smaller in the newer games.
also your not taking into account of weapon spread and magazine size. since Halo CE had 60 rounds vs the others 32, thats pretty significant change. which with its high damage should make it king. but its defiantly the worse AR of all the games because its spread was soo bad it was unusable at mid or long range. however the other AR had less damage and mag size but better spread so it can actually be used at mid range. in CE the AR starts with a random spread up to 2 degrees but after 0.6 seconds (9 rounds) of continues firing, its spread is 6.5 degrees. bursting only helps soo much when it takes a full second to reset the spread
also are health vs damage ratio similar in other games. for example a basic elite in CE has 100health and 100 shields. most marines have 60 health 45 shields. ratio might be affected if lets say a Halo 3 Elite had 50 health and 50 shield. in which case a H3 AR does less numerical damage but can kill quicker.
also depends on actual damage multipliers for materials. a AR projectile in CE has a damage multiplier of 1 to most enemies. however to an elite energy shield it only has a multiplier of 0.7, meaning even if a elite has 100 shield health, it basicly would take several more hits to deplete the shield because instead of doing 10 damage, its only doing 7 damage. so if the multipliers are different in the other games, it can also change its true effectiveness
Do all the enemies have the same health between the different games tho? Because one might have the biggest value, but maybe the enemies could have more health on average, making it weaker in gameplay
Ah crap. This video came up and now all I want to do is binge all the Halo campaigns and play custom games with full lobbies
Wait can't you use the forge mode for Halo 5 from the PC and figure out the stats in the game files?
Halo 2A’s multiplayer assault rifle was very satisfying to use.
What soundtrack is on 01:40
What is the damage scaled against? Does a damage of 10 mean that it will kill an unshielded spartan in 10 body shots?
Didnt have to even watch the video to know it was halo 1 assault rifle. Just from playing with all them and absolutely shutting down enemies with it over the years so easily
I noticed back then that the odst AR was a bit slower and a bit more powerful
I understand that the damage is different, but you didn't mention the health/shield values this damage is compared against.
I would have included the Halo 2 SMG as an honorable mention. It fulfilled the same role as the Halo: CE AR, complete with crosshair, which is probably why they never included it.
Anyone notice that the Saw in halo 4 and 5 is quite similar to the halo CE AR?
Just something I thought of, but would it also be relevant to determine each games character health bar and shield amounts to determine which one kills fastest as well? Just something to think about, because I believe I have heard once before that you have 75 health and 100 shield in Halo CE, but I never have seen for the other games.
It doesn't really change which weapon is better though. But it does make for a good comparison in the future between which game has stronger AI's ;)
Actually Halo 5 isn't the only game you left out the weapon comparison from, you forget Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer also has the Assault Rifle so if you could do an updated vid in the future when you do get the stats you'd also need to do that game as well
Is anyone else's audio a bit fucked on MCC? Can barely hear cortana when she's talking during a mission.
