The day people stop asking for specific shoes or any other leather goods, these jobs will have a very hard time… unfortunately. 15 years ago, i worked for a shoe factory in Abruzzo and i learned so many things about the craft, about leather and many other things. If i didn’t work there, at the time, i wouldn’t be able to do a lot of things which are absolutely normal today. The Abruzzo region, is the region after the Marche, which are the most important regions when it comes to shoes and leather products in general. Many shoes (sneakers in particular) were made by factories from those regions.
Nike, Jordan, Adidas and whoever has a bad quality control, take an example of how they remove glue stains! And that’s only one little thing they do with absolute normality
I really feel how the workers are meticulously doing their task! They have this in their heart that they are not just making an LV SHOES but a PREMIUM QUALITY SHOES! No wonder why its expensive😊
