This movie was downright INSANE. Perfectly executed. Terrifying atmosphere; and characters just as unsettling. It features a whole lot of symbolism and a ton of contrasts; which is made quite clear in the final quarter of the movie. If you like your movies DARK; then look no further. This is a GEM of a movie.

Wow... It’s amazes me that these guys go looking for monsters in the wood with a fucking bolt action rifle or a double barrel shotgun. I would have an AK-47 with a vest holding about 12 more 30 round mags, a Glock 45 acp with 6 extra 13 round mags.

You must've watched the wrong movie, then. You didn't catch it?
I'll admit it's quite a hard one to go through; but you literally referenced the last 10 minutes - which is what totally fulfills this gem of a movie. Those last 10 minutes flips everything about the movie on it's head, doing a 180; and is proud of doing so.
I think THAT is WORTHWHILE. It's worth watching the entire movie because of that mindfuckingly beautiful twist at the end. Simply because;..... Not to spoil. But the movie was indeed called "Sator"... Then who do you think "Sator" actually is?
Is it a horror thriller or an art film? I like art films. I like horror thrillers. But I don't like horror thrillers masquerading as art films because of a low budget. It takes a lot of strength to make a film. Congrats! Maybe I'll check it out but the trailer wasn't inspiring.
