I was in my early 20's when Reloaded hit the theaters. I went to the movies to watch the Matrix Reloaded 16 times.! I've never did this before or ever again.
i believe reloaded was the best for the fact that it had more action than all other matrix movies combined. reloaded was more about THE MATRIX than the others ...the screen time in matrix was greater than that in the real world in this film. the first film was balanced screen time between the matrix and the real world. and the third movie was having more screen time about the real world than the matrix.
Despite the negativity aimed at Revolutions, I loved it. It's an amazing trilogy. Best thing for me was the relationship between Neo and Trinity. A beautiful love story set against the horror of their existence and the possible end of humanity. It was heartbreaking when Trinity died in Revolutions. Such a powerful scene. Everyone was brilliant in it. We will never see its like again.
They brought up an excellent point. What really gives a movie rewatch value is when it is so rich and cleverly detailed, that you can watch it over and over and always pick up something new.
I think every die-hard matrix fan should see this interview. Keanu was quiet for first 10 mins and let his team mates talk but when he had a chance to answer Rose's question...., woh, his pouring thought just BLEW MY MIND.
Keanu is a deeply philosophical and highly intelligent Man. people who stopped with Bill and Ted and some of the other sillier films have no idea that that child like exuberant fun loving Keanu hides an "old soul," rich and deeply grounded, full of grace and truth❤
20 years later i still get goosebumps and still get the biggest grin on my face whenever i see an interview or a BTS shot! I am so happy those movies are being created and released in my lifetime, the level of anticipation i have for the Matrix 4 is indescribable.

When the Matrix first came out when I was a kid, I don't remember hearing anything about it at first. What he said was true that at first there wasn't much fanfare and then it grew. Cuz I can remember this older kid on the Block come in and telling us all what it was about and how it was the coolest thing he had ever seen. So I begged my dad to take me and then my dad even became a huge fan and thought it was amazing. We ended up seeing it five different times in Theaters. Which honestly I'm crazy thankful for because obviously it was an amazing movie experience to see that way and I honestly remember seeing in the theaters most of the times that we saw it. It was that epic and I was only about 10 or 11 years old
Incredible movie, it evolves around waking up to your true identity, not the identity your given at birth and who people tell you how you should be. This movie has Deep meaning. Waking up to discovering your more than a body.

Oops, Trinity/Carrie-Anne Moss gave away that there were 5 ones before Neo. _Supposedly_ the _original_ reveal of 5 ones was in the original script for the 1st Matrix _but_ it was during the same time frame of when Morpheus was unplugged from The Matrix _and_ it was different than the 5 ones explanation they went with (The original concept: there were 5 individuals that Morpheus thought was the one (and had even trained) until each one got killed off). This was all told to Neo by Cypher.)
In fact, this is what we buddhists are taught. There are more than one Buddha. Before this Buddha that we have known now, there are many buddha before him. Some were individual Buddhas who came to earth for the purpose of achieving individual enlightenment and left the earth plane. Seeing these guys speak with such grace and understanding about what this movie is, really makes you wonder how on earth the MGTOW and redpill guys got THAT worthless philosophy out of the brilliance that is the Matrix.
